starting doses of methadone???

im going to be starting my methadone program starting wednesday,,i was wondering whats the ussual dose they start you on???
Also i will add that she told me that to kick my habbit i would be taking one dose a day.so how much is a starting dose for that ,,also she told me because i have great pains that i could also be taking 3 doses a day for pain if thats the route i and the doctor diceide to do,,so how much would the doses be if i were taking 3 doses a day for pain reliefe..
very curious as we never talked about doses ,,,i see the doc wednesday..and im pretty wound up about the whole thing....any help would be greatly appreciated....

it really depends on your habit, that will depend on the dosage necessary to stave off cravings.

Really depends on your tolerance, as to starting dosage.
I was started on 10mg/qid, but had little tolerance at that time.

Perhaps, if you give a little more info. as to opiate experience.
