Earlier I saw a need to include senior citizens in psychedelic research and recreational use. I sent emails and letters to NYS Senate advocating for psychedelic therapy and personal use. I started a website, seniors4psychedelics and posted information on social media.
I have a new cause now to include people on the schizophrenia spectrum as part of research and study in hope to find answers and treatment for this debilitating condition outside of traditional treatment methods. Psychosis is like the perfect storm where all forces unite and breakdown. Not caused by any one thing but an accumulation of variables including trauma, genetics, environment, health and disease. If scientist could learn the relationship between psychosis caused by 'the storm" and psychotropic chemicals found in nature and chemical compounds from people who already experienced both types of psychosis may bring information about brain function in this select population of individuals and possibly a cure or perhaps treatment.
This brings me to request for fellow blue lighters, in previous post some of you stated being on the schiz-spectrum and found relief by using psychedelics. I sure would like to talk to you about your experience and what psychedelics were helpful to you.
