note - I know this thread doesn't "officially" belong here but it seems like the best way to get PD regulars organized.

Starcraft 2 came out recently. If you don't know what it is, A) you've been living under a rock and B) this thread doesn't apply to you.

To add friends on the new battle.net you need a name and character code. The purpose of this thread is to let people post theirs, if they choose, so we can add each other and play/chat in-game.

For those who are unaware, there is a second tier of friend level called Real ID Friends. That involves exchanging email addresses. I don't know what the BL rules are on this but my advice to people is: if you want to Real ID add someone, work it out via PM or some other private communication, don't post your email address here.

My character code is: Soli.186 and I will be happy to accept any PDers. I know LMA is setting his machine up to play, I'm pretty sure Solipsis is into SC and I'm sure some of you other regulars are as well, so post yours!

I'll try to keep an updated list of people here. Mods, feel free to update it for me if I'm slow on the uptake.

BLUELIGHT NAME: SC2 NAME

solistus: Soli.186

also, if anyone is interested i wrote a simple little +2 sc2 trainer program that sits in the background and gives you +1000 minerals or +1000 vespene when you press their respective keys.

Shit, I loved Starcraft back in the day... middle school and high school. No time for video games these days.

I'm going to let this happen for a little bit unless there is complaint.

Just a question, arent there different servers for european and usa players? maybe ppl should write that too, as some arent visible in here....

It's very balanced at the top competitive level - all 3 races are definitely viable and there are a variety of good builds in each match-up.

kingme: you're right, totally forgot but there are different regions - North America, Europe, Australasia, etc. I play in the US.

sorry guys, somewhat off topic but I really want this game because i was a HUGE fan of starcraft and have been waiting for YEARS for this. Can anyone tell me the minimum computer specs you need to run this pretty good and if anyone knows if a laptop with 2g ram with a pretty shit graphics card could run this?
