There was a star he burned bright
Lit up the sky and I saw past the planets
Something different that wasn't obscene
Someone who didn't violate me
But I messed it up as I always do
Running around with dreams in my head
Tried to stop the way I felt but it wouldn't go
Wish I could bury it and make it go away
Now I'm just going through the motions
Of an every day life where all is the same
But with the brightest star I've ever known
Missing.

sometimes it's hard to see them during the day..

but its reassuring to know that through the pain of a day, nighttime is never really far away...
