okay, since 9/11 i have gained 15 lbs. i have started rollerblading again everyday which i stopped doing. it seems as if i am gaining muscle and not losing weight.plus ,it wipes me out.
i went to gnc to get some stackers 2 cause i heard they were speedy. the gnc lady told me though they werent good so much for losing weight and recommended the exendrine ,but told me alot of people had been doing the hydroxycut latly and liked that.
now im confused. i went in knowing i wanted to get one thing but then was swampped by all of the other products. i need info on any. what works best. whats the quickest way to lose 15 lbs. im not going to do meth btw, thank you.

Do not use Stacker 2
I bought it at GNC and the only thing it did for me was give me the shakes, and a headache.
I worked out for 1 month and no results..

There was a thread about hydroxycut a while back. I posted a more detailed response in that thread, but studies have shown that hydroxycitric acid, the unique ingredient in hydroxycut, has no weight-loss value and may even shrink your balls if you are a male.

okay,i noticed i spelled xenedrine wrong. i read all of the old post but still lokking for fresh replies. the last post was in march so i was wondering how it went for those people ? also, what about the stackers 2?

has anyone tried the new ephedrine and caffiene free xenadrine rfa? it supposdely works really well, im kinda curious about it.

wanna lose weight?
do meth for about 2 months.
youll be fine.
ive known PLENTY of girls go on the tweak diet...and some who never stopped it.

the BEST thing for fat loss is the CAFFEINE/EPHEDRINE/ASPIRIN combo...it comes in severl bvrands and things like XENADRINE, HYDROXYXCUT and STACKER 2 all havre the basic SAME ingredients which are EPHEDRINE and CAFFEINE...these are the only 2 LEGAL ingredients in reality that up yuour bodys metabolic rate...it will mnake you wired and hyper as hell but thats a good thing, make you work out harder...
i have been taking stacker 2 for years, before it was dymatadreine extreme, but like i said its all the same stuff inside..
just dont take whatever supllement more than 3 days a week or else tolerance will build and i dont care what anyone says takjing these drugsd on a regular basis is NOT good for your heart...

ECA stack is the best supplement you can use for fat loss. 20mg Ephederine, 200mg Caffine and ~40mg asprin 2x a day (upon waking & ~2pm). If you want, I can write you out a program over email. But I'll give a basic rundown here.
#1. Use an ECA supplement. Ripped Fuel/Diet Fuel, Stacker 2, Stacker 3, Yellow Jackets (all the same, only SLIGHT differences in some ingredients like caffine), Hydroxycut, Xenedrine, ect...
#2. Cardio BEFORE your first meal/breakfast.
-Why-??
When you sleep at night, your body is still burning calories, usually in the form of glucose. That glucose is taken from muscle cells. For most ppl, when they excersise, the first fuel your body uses is glucose. After the glucose is gone, THEN your body burns fat. When you wake up, your glucose stores are fairly low. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT! Doign cardio first thing in the morning, you can burn off that glucose quickly, than your body will turn to the fat stores. The same goes for doing cardio after weight training. Weight training burns glucose even faster than cardio.
Best results?
Wake up. Take your ECA product (Xenedrine for example). Do weight training if possible (push-ups, and bodyweight squats are better than nothing), then do cardio (jogging, fast walking...at least 30mins. 45mins would be prefferable). THEN eat breakfast.
But what should you eat?
Protein, Fats, Carbs...in that order.
Protein will prevent muscle wasteing (burning muscle tissue). The more muscle-mass you carry, the more kcal you burn both at rest, as well as while excersise.
[Side Note: Women will not build *mens muscles* without steroids...same goes for most men also.]
Most ppl gain fat easily b/c their bodies release too much INSULIN. Why do they release too much insulin? SUGAR! Most ppl when dieting, will do *low fat, low protein, moderate carbs*. When you take in sugar/carbohydrates, your bloodsugar levels rise. To keep your bloodsugar stable, your body releases insulin. The insulin removes the sugar (read;Glucose) from the blood and packs it first into muscle cells, after those are full, the glucose is packed into FAT cells. Drop your carbs and you'll minimize this nasty occurance.
Ugghhhh....I'm losing sight of my point.
Post any questions.

i had a friend who was taking hydroxycut to lose weight. he did lose the weight, but he also had a severe episode that landed him in the hospital.
he began having night sweats, panic attacks, and general anxiety two weeks after starting the hydroxycut. one night, he took a trip out of town. he didn't do any other drugs, but he began having manic fears and episodes. he had to pull over, go to a hotel, and the hotel people called 911 to take him to the emergency room.
fat stackers, ephedrine, and mini-thins are all the same thing.
if you want advice, i recommend avoiding any form of "fat burner" that contains ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, ephedra, or ma huang. though some may call ma huang "a natural form of ephedrine", it can have the same impact.
if you already have nervous disorders or take other forms of stimulant, the dosages can seriously alter already present chemical imbalances in your system.
recommendation: read the new issue of (believe it or not) People Magazine, where some of Hollywood's finest young stars share their diet and exercise regimens along with recipes.
lastly, from experience i would tell you to avoid the Atkins diet. high-protein diets will take off the weight, but if you change your diet you will gain it all back and then some and find yourself unable to lose it again.
EDIT: anything that helps you take off the weight quickly will eventually become ineffective. "quick fixes" are bad for your metabolism and can have long-term damaging effects. consult with a dietician or a fitness counselor rather than taking a pill.
and ignore GNC's promises, they're trying to make a dollar off of American ignorance to the price of good health.

Stacker sucks for losing weight. All it does is tweek you & give ya the shakes. Xenadrine works for about a month but seems to stop after that. I would suggest you try trimspa. Go to there website. It coast the same as stacker & xenadrine. But meth & coke is truely the best chemical for losing weight...

Oh gawd...the ignorance runs rampant here!
"...if you want advice, i recommend avoiding any form of "fat burner" that contains ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, ephedra, or ma huang. though some may call ma huang "a natural form of ephedrine", it can have the same impact."
-What LEGAL diet product do you recomend? "People Magazine"? Bwahahaha...
ECA combo's decrease in effectiveness as receptors Down Regulate (think herion addict needing more and more herion to get high)...which is why after 4-6 weeks at 4caps/day of Xenedrine, you won't be getting the same effects you got during week 2. Increase the dose! Instead of 2caps, twice a day, use 3caps in the AM, and 2caps in the afternoon. Get the picture?
[side note; some people are too stupid to read the label where it says "begin at 1/2 recomended dose" and wonder why they're jumpy and shakey when they take 2 caps of Ripped Fuel the second they walk out of the store (after work at 6pm no less!) ]
"...anything that helps you take off the weight quickly will eventually become ineffective. "quick fixes" are bad for your metabolism and can have long-term damaging effects. consult with a dietician or a fitness counselor rather than taking a pill""
- I AM a "Fitness Counselor" aka personal trainer aka contest prep advisor. I hate to break it to you, but dieticians don't know jack-shit when it comes to dieting. They'll advise a diet low in protein, high in carbs/fiber and low in fat. They don't take into consideration BMR, basal temp to determine thyroid activity, t4-t3 conversion, t3 tissue production, ect...none of it.
- What exactly are these "long-term damaging effects?" Could you explain to me what you read in Cosmo, or RedBook?
GNC doesn't "promise" anything. It's a legal matter. GNC CANNOT and WILL NOT, promise a product will work. I ran my own GNC, if you told a customer "Xenedrine will shred the fat off you"...you're fired, because you cannot *Prescribe* anything. Don't confuse what the companies ads say with GNC's refund policy (which is; if you have the product w/ reciept you get a full refund, even if there's only 15pills left inside. w/o reciept you can exchange it for equal value).
BTW, the GNC employee persuaded you to buy Xenedrine b/c she most likey recieves a $1 PM (commission) on every bottle of Xenedrine (among other products), but that promotion ended before I left the company....which leads me to believe she wanted you to buy the Xenedrine BECAUSE------>
1 capsule of Stacker2 = 2 caps of Xenedrine.
Go back up to where I talked about starting at 1/2 the recomended dose...i doubt you want to be opening the Stacker2 caps and pouring out 1/2 the contents just to start at a resonable dose, do you?

You wanna know how to lose weight? Eat right and exercise. Cardio workouts are a must. Taking a pill might make you lose weight, but you can't take them forever. As soon as you stop, some or all of the weight will return. The weight loss pills are horrible for you. I used to take Xenadrine and Hydroxycut and they did nothing but destroy my body.
Of course, to each his own.

The bottom line is. If you want to lose weight and don't care about your heart and blood pressure as well as psychological well-being, then Xenadrine works.
The caffeine and ephedra in Xenadrine raise your heart beat giving you increased energy to give you a boost to work out. I take one 30 minutes before I lift, because it honestly helps me lift harder when I get to the gym, but I'm not using it to lose weight.
The Ma-Huang plant ingredient in Xenadrine will raise your blood pressure quite noticably if you don't discontinue use after a good month or so. Do not take this product or anything like it if you're family has a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, etc, especially for a prolonged period of time.
If you take recommended dose (4 pills) per day you will notice you will get the shakes 30 minutes after you take, you will notice this even moreso if you don't workout after taking it. If you sit around idly, you may even feel your heart beat, and sometimes it feels like it's beating out of your chest. It can be scary.
The recommended dose for me, also gave me horrid mood swings. I stopped taking Xenadrine regularly because I have a girlfriend, and when I was on that stuff, we fought non-stop because of my mood swings. The stuff makes you a basket case. It raises your emotions, aggression (at least it did for me).
It defintely, supresses your appetite as well. I could take Xenadrine for 2 days and not eat a thing, and feel perfectly fine. Of course, when you go to work out, if you're not taking a multi-vitamin or a drinking a protein shake, you will feel like you're going to blackout, or actually black out due to dehydration.
If you are adament about losing this weight, Xenadrine works, but comes with some "baggage", my suggestion would be to either A. try the new Xenadrine EFX, it's got all the same ingredients minue the harmful ephedrine, I'm not sure if weight loss works without the ephedrine though, as far as I know though, the epehdrine is for the energy boost. The EFX should suppress your appetite and increase your metabolism a bit, and maybe just drink some caffeine with it for the energy boost.
Or you could take it in half doses which cuts down the on the side effects considerable. Take 1 pill before you work out in the AM, and 1 pill in the early afternoon when you begin to get hungry and don't want to eat. Do that for about 3 weeks straight, and then discontinue use for 3 weeks. Continue on like that.
You really don't want to take this stuff for more than a month straight at the most if you care about your heart. Your weight won't matter much when you have a heart attack or stroke years earlier because of the damage you do now.
Be careful. I've been messing with Xenadrine for about 2 years now (experimenting with a good way to take it and stay healthy) so if you have any questions, IM me I'll help you out. triple5soul27 is my screen name.
I don't know shit about Stacker or hydroxycut though. Good luck.

for the record, i have been exercising. i rollerblade for one hour everyday and then i ride a stationary bike while i watch t.v., plus some weights for my upper body and arms and i get nothing. i swear ive even gained weight since i started exercising again.
because i have a subscription i did happen to read that people magazine where it said jen aniston does the zone diet and gweneth eats nuts and seeds and and stevie nicks uses the aktins diet. i only learned that they are all on some diet program not their "secrets" as the article proclaimed.
now as for these pills. do i take asprin with them or is that ingrediant in the pills? and are the stackers stronger in epederine the exnadrine or all they all about the same? what is ripped fuel? it looks like it liquid from the big bottle i see it in and do i use it with the ECA or is it the same things as?
and just to make sure im reading this right, if the bottle says take 2 i should just take one at first? half the dosage? and work up from there?
thank you, i am going to go make my big purchase tomorrow. oh, what about diet soda? it has caffine. will this not be good? if i got caffine free would the carbonation be a problem in losing weight.

junglelist-your post wasnt up before i posted. what are some of the side effects? will i be "addicted" coming off of them. will i blow up coming off of them? and if i just want to lose 15 or 20 pounds could i be done with them in a month or is that asking for too much. i should add that i am a dedicated person.

Alright folks. Let us establish and agree on a some simple facts about ephedrine tachyphylaxis aka. tolerance aka. 'chemical fate'.
Ephedrine agonizes, among other things, 3 of the Norepinephrine Beta tissue receptors. NE1, NE2, and NE3. (It also agonizes at least one alpha NE receptor, BUT if anything, that hinders the rate of lipolysis).
Not all receptor types and subtypes downregulate and upregulate proportionaly!
This thread makes me want to make lots of points about lots of stuff. But I'll keep this simple and directed as to be more of a foundation to speak on then a more diverse, diluted message.
It has been found that, while some tolerance develops to the negative, and noticable effects of ephedrine, the lipolytic (fat losing) effects stay strong for a longer period of time, a lot closer to 20 weeks as some say. Others say it can be cycled for YEARS on a 5 on / 2 off day schedule.
I'll include studies and references if challenged on this :) but for now here's a quote/URL.
from http://www.house.gov/reform/hearings/healthcare/ephedra/mowreyappendixb.htm
The combination of ephedrine and caffeine in doses described above has been hugely successful in Europe where it currently accounts for about 80% of the market for weight control agents. The reason for this popularity is simple: effectiveness without serious side effects. The problem of serious side effects was an early issue with ephedrine as a proposed weight control agent. It was reasoned correctly that humans would need to use it for several months to gain the desired degree of weight loss. Thus, it was necessary to devise a means whereby unwanted side effects could be minimized without eliminating the beneficial properties. The solution was already at hand. It was already known that repeated dosing leads to a reduction in cardiovascular and pulmonary results. Tolerance or tachyphylaxis develops. Hence, if any adverse events are to occur they will appear within the first few days, and tend to dissipate after that. But does the same happen in BAT? And is it possible to administer a dose low enough to stimulate BAT but not so large as to produce serious adverse events?
The questions were answered through further scientific inquiry. First, it was found that BAT actually increases in mass with repeated stimulation by ephedrine and by caffeine., Second, while tachyphylaxis does occur for the cardiovascular and pulmonary events, BAT appears to increase in sensitivity. In other words, a down-regulation of unwanted events occurs, while an up-regulation of BAT responsiveness occurs. Third, with the help of disinhibitors, it is possible to administer a dose sufficient for BAT stimulation, without concurrent heavy stimulation of receptors in other areas of the body. This latter effect appears to be the combined result of the presence of the uncoupling protein and a special receptor class found almost entirely in BAT: the beta-three adenoceptor

Oh I have to further point out in regards to 'quick fixes'.
I'll have you people know that even non-professional amatuer bodybuilding types do intentionally put their body in extreme catabolic bodystates to maximize fatloss time, and then subsequently put their bodies in extreme anabolic bodystates to maximize muscular hypertrophy.
It isn't some sort of irreversible damage to your body to do a crash diet. Tthe metabolism is actually very proficient at bouncing back from a starvation-induced slowdown, for an extreme example, or just somebody who went and overdid the cardio for their too-low of caloric intake.
There are rules among the more well diet-informed as to just how much of a caloric defecit one should have while dieting and what types of food macronutrients their protein/fat/carbohydrate ratios will be at during either of these periods.
The answer is far from simple.
Instead of all these responses like "just eat healthy, just do this, just do that.. # times per week... works for me". Why don't you people recommend the person gets some books on physiology and nutrition and begin to appreciate how complex the metabolism actually is.

P.S. Magazines suck :)

If you wana lose weight fast, get amphetamine base. I'm only 8 stone, and always have been. a year and a half ago, I became a speed addict and the weight dropped off me. I lost 2 stone in a week. I definately don't recommend it as a long term solution but only the once as the skanky stuff is really addictive.

I'm really amazed that so many people took the time to give detailed responses to this.
First, all of these products have a statement on the packages saying something like "may promote blah blah blah health benefit". Underneath it they will all say "This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease".
It takes only the slightest common sense to put it together that if these products actually had any significant effects that the FDA would have been interested in them enough to evaluate them.
But for those of you lacking this common sense, I will tell you.
These products have no significant benefitial effects. At best you might SLIGHTLY raise your heart beat rate. A stressful day would have a more noticeable stimulant effect.
You might as well be taking sugar pills, because placebo will be just as effective.

If you're actually concerned with being health, there is no reason why you should stop excercising. Had you done a little research, you would have understood why you were still gaining weight. It's simply a matter of your diet and metabolism. In my case, if I eat normally, I lose weight when I excercise because my metabolism is so high. At any rate, again, if you care about being healthy, see a nutritionalist or a fitness expert and figure out an appropriate diet and excercise plan.
If you are a lazy fuck and looking for a quick solution that requires no effort then I can recommend a few things. Stress yourself out to the point where you can't eat. Starve yourself. Fake ADHD and get put on Ritalin or something similar. Or finally, abuse methamphetamine and/or cocaine.
the gnc lady told me
GNC employees are not health experts. They're retail workers that have a very limited knowledge of the products they sell, if they actually know anything about them at all. GNC is not a health chain, they are a profit chain. And they rake in huge profits from the ignorance of the people who shop there.
The majority of what GNC carries is completely worthless.
