SSRI's + The Opiate Experience (Still Uncertain)

Okay, I think some opiates will be coming my way sometime in the very near future. I have been taking an SSRI (Paxil 20 mg once daily) for about a month. I absolutely love opiates, and do not want to waste any at all. My question is do SSRI's really dull the effects of opiates, and if so how? I know this has been asked before, but I am really curious to know why it would if it does at all, and how it does. I know answers will be varied, but I'd like to get an idea of the general consensus.

My other question is now that I've been on the Paxil for a month, would coming off could turkey be unpleasant, or has not enough time elapsed to develop significant dependence? My feeling is that with only being on it a month, no real dependence has formed, but I am not certain of this. Thanks in advance for everyone's replies on the subject. :)

Some people claim SSRI's can dull the opiate experience, and others don't notice any issues.. Basic dosage questions and combination threads belong in BDD, though, so i am going to move it over yonder. You will probably get better answers over there.
