I got a pack of Tramadol for free. Never tried it before. But I'm quick to sample anything. Anyway, I take anti-psychotics (Clozapine and Olanzapine) and 200 mg of Zoloft (Sertraline) a day. How many days should I miss taking Sertraline before trying Tramadol? I don't want to experience Serotonin Syndrome.

I would give it a few days to a week if you want to be really safe.
Be careful with those tramadol they can cause serious seizures at 400mg and up. They are weeak opiates but since e they act as a serotonin producing agent they have side effects similar to anti depressants.

Word of advice I font think its a very good idea to take the meds you probably need just so you can catch a buzz on tramadol which is also dangerous to try to do. I don't see anything good coming from this but k know you will do want you do not much I can say to stop you.

don't mix it.

i never took tramadol (though will get my hands on a few in a couple days hehe) but i know that besides being an opioid it is an SNRI, and sertraline is an SSRI. that is, both of them inhibit serotonin reuptake and combining the two is likely to give you serotonin syndrome or even seizures. also, sertraline has an immense half-life (66hs for active metabolite) so simply stop taking your sertraline for one day or two or even a week will not make it safer.
