I usually drink and party with friends but i'm now on escitalopram and i tried having 3 beers the other night and woke up with the worst headache ever!!!

what would you guys recommend i do for a substitute?

Welcome to Bluelight, I shall move your question to the Basic Drugs Discussion.
It is likely to get a better response there.

Personally I wouldn't know the answer but I would also not recommend drinking or using other similar chemicals while taking SSRI's.

I regularly drink on escitalopram (Lexapro) with zero problems.

Not even sure why they recommend not to do it because I genuinely don't believe it is unsafe but if it bothers you I'd try a different drug combo.

well i tried having only three beers like i said, i felt fine throughout the night but in the morning the amount of hangover i had was ridiculous.
