SSRI's and 6-apb harmful combo?

Yes. Bad idea. Mixing a serotonin releaser (6-apb) with something that inhibits its re-uptake (ssri) can very easily lead to serotonin syndrome. If your not convinced do some googling into how the two drugs work, and why taking them together could lead to a fatally high level of serotonin should become obvious.

Be safe.

This is indeed a bad combination, as I found out last summer.

40mg Fluoxetine daily (at the time) + 200mg (approx) 6-apb turn what should have been an enjoyable night at fabric into something of a nightmare.

The next day I was a miserable ratbag.

I would also (and have done) avoided such combinations for the reasons already stated.

I am interested to understand the mechanism a little more though as taking MDMA on and SSRI seems relatively common but on the basis of my basic understanding of Serotonin Syndrome would carry the same risks ?
