SSRI and Subutex?

I am about to start taking citalopram with my daily Subutex does of about 2-3mg a day.

Has anyone else here been on an antidepressant while on Subutex? I had great results while I was on oxy and an ssri so I'm hoping for the same with the subs.

If you achieved good results with SSRIs and oxycodone, the results should be similar with SSRIs and buprenorphine.

In fact, they may even be better, some users of buprenorphine report an antidepressant effect.

It will be better.

Oxycodone is too fiendish after a while, while suboxone has a ceiling effect that you can maintain for a rather long time without severe tolerance building up.

I'm prescribed an SNRI (Effexor) with Suboxone and I guess it helps somewhat. I don't really notice it but I've been an SNRI the entire time I've been on the Suboxone so couldn't compare without it.
