Iv noticed he's proper under known for how awe inspiring his music is.
I don't really have point to this post, just that his name isn't mentioned enough! If you haven't heard of squarepusher, hear him!

Yea I really like his newest release, like a mixture of his newer and older styles. Hard normal daddy will probably always be my all time favourite album. Such amazing rhythm and timing. Reminds me of such fun times.
He's also one of the few artists who has remained consistent, every albums so different but all just as good as each other. Right, il remove my head from Mr.Jenkinsons bum now ?
Anyone heard of his younger bro, ceephax?

I never really paid attention to squarepusher, but this is really good stuff. thanks for sharing :)

listening to this right now:

I remember in like 2000 I had to take driving lessons to get a break on my insurance. I was 18 I think, I'm kinda fuzzy today. The driving instructor wouldn't shutup about aerosmith concerts he went to, and like other stupid stuff...he ended up getting us lost. So I just pressed play on some squarpusher. The dude sat there like awestruck. It was an amazing moment. When I dropped him off he asked if he could borrow the CD. So I gave him that and mu-ziq

Early this morning while caught in the grips of the migraine from hell Iambic 9 Poetry came on the Amon Tobin Pandora station and comfort soon followed. Like being cradled in the womb slowly floating through time and space.

Squarepusher! I love that guy. Anyone been to one of his shows?

yes and i was kind of disappointed cos he does so much varied stuff a lot of the songs were not ones i would listen to. i love about 35-40% on his tunes. it was way too much annoying drill sounds etc. he has lots of tunes i do like but it had few of them. wouldn't go again cos he only did a few guitar bits at the end which i love (my main attraction to him) but the show could have hd a lot more of that and less laptop plus annying noises that at very high volumes i'm like hmmm. plus it went on for ages which is not a bad thing but only if you are getting what you want and i wasn't.

it was in east london about 4-5 months back roughly. i'd built it up so much before going

I'd have to agree with you somewhat, I think I'd also be disappointed seeing him live. Easily my all time favourite musician, but from what I've seen he is a bit shit live. He fucks about with his songs too much, and in his presumably 'merry' state he fucks it up a bit lol.
