i usually do that, drop just before i hit the clubs... and then realise, theres a big line and there i am bouncing around like a flea on speed

I think it won't be too long before more clubs start getting stricter like home is (or so I've heard being all the way down here in melburn). I would think it will only be a couple (3-4) years before most big clubs start using metal detectors and other stuff. Public liability is getting to the point where insurance companies will start demanding it and the 'righteous' public expects it. Can't remember the bill, but NSW put through one targetting houses that distribute heroin, making owners liable. That legislation could easily be adapted to drugs in nightclubs.
Bah, be discreet and have fun. Personally I never use the toilets for drug consumption, there's always another spot that won't be watched as carefully

Yeah its basically that crackhouse law from the states.. Im sure if you searched for crackhouse or so, you will find it..
Club owners know drug deals are happening in their clubs, so they are liable for it..

It is, perhaps, the CLUB in SYDNEY where your drug taking activities are MOST protected by the guise of 'incredible and effective' security.
NOW i know Simon Page,(the owner for those who dont know), Would(COULD) never admit to this. BUT he woldnt be as STEW-PID as James Palumbo (MoS-london) and go so far as to say that THERE ARE NO DRUGS in his club because of his HOLY SECURITY PERSONNEL...
but he and ALL OF OZ know why people stay out all night and dance to a repetetive banging thump, smiling their eyeballs out and hugging every moving object contained in the venue.
DAMMIT, you think the bouncers themselves arent speeding their gorgeous fucking man-tits off?!?!

one question: is GLUCOSE A DRUG?
... I mean, ive had loads of dodgy speed in my time thats had a major proportion of glucose cut with it.

ok guys....iv been working for one of sydneys smaller clubs for the past few months helping out with promotions and stuff and drugs are a HUGE issue @ the mo (for obvious reasons)...now the club im talking about has even been mentioned earlier by a fellow bluelighter....anyhoo...all we seem 2 talk about in the office is the drug problem and how its the smaller establishments that are being raided when its common knowledge that HOME is the place to go to do drugs...it makes u think how much home are in with the cops because if they ever got raided alot of heads would roll....
ummm...errr...i was going somewhere with this but it has been a loooong day...il come back to it later...

I think the reason that Home will never get raided is because of the level of private security that they have there.
They appear to be taking an active stance against people consuming drugs within their club. Which is why the cops are going to leave them alone.

Put it this way, as my friends and I walked in....we noticed a girl sitting on the couch in the corner with the bali man sitting there with his hands up....well I wont finish the rest. She was getting off on it! So sick, I could of vomitted. Everytime I see those men and they offer hand massages...I just give them a filthy look and tell them to step away from me please...uuueeerrrgg! Anyway I only saw it once...and it made me sick that they were blatently doing that right in the toilets there....!
Oh well, Home is a great place for young people, personally its a bit toooo young for me..heaps of little ravers with glow sticks, all fresh shiny clothes from the shops, everyone off their trolleys. I personally prefer the french hard house in places like GAS etc..more of a classier place than home. PLUS it doesnt seem riddled with cameras, even though there are some here and there...

So basically what the consensus is that HOME can put cameras in the toilets and we cant do shit about it?
Why do i find that very hard to believe? I just dont see how thats legal at all
Anyway i always go outside to do my drugs unless im just popping a pill. The Darling Harbur security are much more lenient. They caught us racking up coke and just told us to piss off
 
Dont hedge your bets on the Darling harbour rangers being 'lenient'..
Myself, Goose, and a dickhead friend of mine at the time (who shall remain nameless cos he got my little cousin pregnant and fucked off into the wild blue yonder but im not going to talk about that right HERE) were caught on security camera chopping up a couple of clovers and racking them up in the little 'forest' bit near the exhibition centre and we were set upon quite harshly.
True they are just out to look big and scary and they are 'rent-a-cops' who can do nothing really without calling real police, but thats precicely what they did...
My friend Goose had a large number of pills on him (i actually had a larger number on me but mine were 'down south' and his were in his pocket)... as soon as he heard the voice of a female police officer over the rdio thing say "sniffer dogs on their way.." he was out of there like shit-through-a-goose (no pun intended)..
This resulted in a couple of renta cops pursuing him for quite soem distance.. but they gave up very easily..
They took my name and address.
and told us to leave Darling harbour, upon which time we walked into the city, met up with goose who had run all the way into haymarket and up george st, changed our tops and went directly back top sublime..
ive no doubt we were only let go cos he ran and that the D.H.rangers are serious about their job..
My advice: it is safer to do it in the relative 'privacy' of the club if you know where to go...
 
I know this is dredging up an old-ish post but can anyone confirm that there are no cameras in the chick's loo?
I, too, find those Balinesian men more than a little creepy (should there be lecherous foreign men hanging around in the ladies'?) but what I find even more off-putting is the fact that home might be filming u in the cubicle. The thought of some sicko sex-deprived golden showers security guy getting off on me (& countless others) taking a leak and potentially taking these tapes home for continued getting-off is just *shudder*
I actually *do* care if someone sees my [insert euphemism]. This is one case where the double standard thing may actually work in favour of the lasses.

As I said....i like GAS, I prefer this place to anywhere else, that and a few other clubs in sydney, you guys are obviously younger than me, and HOME suits you all better! Sublime has the same old DJ's a lot- Jumping jack, craig Obey, Nik Fish. GAS has heaps and heaps of different DJ's! Anyway, stop preaching that one club is better than another, as GAS is just what I prefer.
...... and by the sounds of it, a lot less HASSLE *ha ha* than sublime to go pilling & clubbing.

NIGHTCLUBS AREN'T YOUR FUCKING CRACKHOUSES!!
Some people are worried that the sanctity of the place where they feel free to get fucked on drugs in a very indiscrete manner is at stake because then... shock horror! tey might have to be discrete, and/or stop treating you nightclubs like a shooting gallery.
Everyone looks down on crackhouses and shooting galleries of the scum of the earth, half the people on a night out are treating the nightclubs as a shooting gallery for E. Blatant, in your face, excessive drug use.
Sorry bout the rant, these clubs know they are there for no other purpose than to solicit drug use by a portion of their crowd, and they have to deal with it. There are pros and cons to the argument. But filming in toilets is a bit far.
