*** Spotlight Substance of November: AMT and 5Meo-AMT

Hmm, for the sake of pointless but entertaining discussion, my magical half-dozen would currently be (in no particular order):

AMT
4-HO-DMT/mushrooms
2C-E
Mescaline
2C-T-2 (for its sheer utility in self-psychotherapy)
4-AcO-DMT

I think. DMT hasn't yet allowed me to break through.
 
I love AMT, and I agree with Xorkoth that it is the most social and recreational psychedelic there is. By itself it's great, but as I've mentioned before in other threads when I took some 4-aco-dmt with it, it was truly the best psychedelic experience I've ever had. It kind of becomes like a new chemical unto itself (amt & 4-aco-dmt).

The euphoria is unmatched imho. The empatho and entactogenic aspects combined with the smooth mental flow and visual elements give these two a special place in my heart. But anyway, yeah amt is excellent.

I've never tried 5-meo-amt nor do I want to from all the negatives I've read about it. That and 5-meo-dipt are the only tryptamines that I would take a permanent pass on.
 
but generally, they have no substance to them they are a horrible train wreck that should never of happened, if I can dig up some good reports and some intelligent discussion can come of it, Hell, I wouldnt mind!
 
I'd like it if we could find some good ones. They certainly do exist. There are a number on Erowid, but I don't know of any off the top of my head here.

I'll find a link to it as I think I'm too jaded about this stuff to give an objective description (other than to say, summing it up in one line would be my,"opens the sluice gates at both ends"! :! ). Anybody who finds tales of grown men shitting themselves while puking amusing might want to read the gory details when I find the link to post... =D

And AMT is simply alpha methy tryptamine.

Xorkoth, if you think there are some reports on Erowid that detail the good shamanistic Datura Trips that would be a great substance of the monthm and Id be glad to find em and link to em. Drew345 PMed me some reports from here but most of them are of the ones we dont want to spotlight.

It is an interesting drug when used as a shamistic sacrament, I would never touch the stuff though :)

How do you test tabs for LSD. Im sure this has probably been posted on but i cant find it??? I read somewhere that LSD has a triple bond or something??? & will glow under a black light, is this correct?
 
This is not the place for this, this is about AMT. Read the rules of BL and welcome.

LSD has many pi, or Double bonds and glows under a blacklight, but is by no means a reliable way to test for LSD. The best way is with hard to get lab equipment. Also, only buy drugs from people you know and trust.
