This month I wanted to give a tribute to the first psychedelic I tried, Morning Glory and its cousins! My first trip with MG was very profound, and the following have been mild. If you dont do an extraction and just eat the seeds they can be very rewarding. I put 8 packs in a blender with icecream and milk. Tastey!

- Blowmonkey's first time with HBWR, rough, but a great read!

When I took Morning Glory, I remember drinking the Milk Shake down, and watching Fear and Loathing for the first time. When it started coming on we all started smoking out and stuff, and turned on the strobe light. I remember wathching the ceiling in awe of how the popcorn was moving everywhere!

After a few hours I wanted to go home, a sober friend said she would drive my truck and me home, and my girlfriend would follow. I found a cadbury egg in my truck and tried to eat it, I got the first part of the foil off then forgot what I was doing and started trying to unwrap the chocolate part to get to the colorful foil! Then On the way, I was eating fruity pebbles that some girl spilt in my car on the way to school one day. The trip to my house felt like it took for ever, and I kept asking my friend to drive faster!.

I remember trying to get to sleep that night, not able to because of the auditory Hallucinations, and the sound of the clock ticking. I finally got to sleep, and woke up in the morning still having pretty cool open eye patterns swirling around.

It was a recreational, but profound experience. I had no ill feelings and loved every minute of it. After that day, I began to like Psychedelics more than MDMA, and never really felt the same about rolling again. It also spurred my interest in Chemistry and Neurochemistry. How can such a tiny amount of a substance produce such profound changes in reality?

I would love to try LSA, but the worst side effect I can experience from any drug is nausea/vomiting (an irrational fear of mine). I've read so many horror stories involving sickness with LSA that I decided against it. Plus, I've done plenty of LSD, and most people have told me that it's better. 1 person told me they are equal. Should I go for it? I'm pretty scared of getting sick for a straight day, the nausea seemed like it was not just nausea in the trip reports, but a really terrible abdominal pain coupled with it.

Good call to spotlight a relatively unloved family of chems.

You didnt put up any rivea corumbosa reports, but there really arent too many.

I have only got mild bad symptoms! Its worth a shot!

I got some stomach achyness, and some leg cramping. About 8 people tried it with me, with the exact same preparation. No one was debilitated or threw up, everyone had a great time, but with a wide reange of psychedelic effects from very little to fucked up! I am not sure as to everyone's doses, though, I believe they were similar.

Man...I'll try it. I feel the same way about this as do about DXM now...sure...it's fun, but how sick am I gonna be throughout? Only one way to know...

Awesome post Beenhead. I just got back from my trip to Europe and im glad to see something like this on the board. Hope everyone didnt think I gave up on it and ditched out =D

nice work though man, we obviously made the right choice

Thanks for the post egor, pretty interesting. THis is a great prep in my opinion as well, as long as it does not contain any extractions.
I like the idea for easing the leg cramps, movement should greatly reduce the lactic acid build up!
Psilo, good to have you back, and thanks for those kind words!

^^I have easy access to lsd at the moment and I still think it is worthwhile, but not with mg seeds, woodrose are far easier to work with.

It's all to do with the species invoilved and the time they were harvested as thelevels of individual alkaloids differ (sometimes greatly). The main alkaloid you want for LSD type effects is lysergic acid hydroxyethykamide, actual LSA having little psychedelic action in comparison (it has narcotic-like qualities).

samadhi, I do believe it is worth the experience to try them. I dont see these plants as a replacement for LSD when there is none, rather an interesting psychedelic in its own right.

Has anyone read this report?

It's a report about someone smoking a pinch of ground MG powder and getting very intense effects.
If you've read it what do you think of it

I dont believe it beacause all the alkaloids are very sensitive to heat and would surely be destroyed inside the flame
