^ That would be Roger Ebert's screenwriting debut: Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Honestly, I don't know what to think about that movie, especially realizing it was co-written by Ebert - that was like learning Louis CK wrote and directed Pootie Tang: just fuckin' weird.

^ I think it works better if you provide a new still or a hint from the same film. I didn't recognize the still you originally posted, but the one you replaced it with makes me pretty certain that it's Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom. And for Bonus Points, I'm pretty sure the last picture you posted is from Haute Tension.

I admit, I just can't get into most movies made before 1974. I'm not exactly sure why, but I have tried to. They just don't take. I've seen a ton of movies past that date, including yours, which is Cronos.
