What are the criteria for the competition? I take it the haiku have to follow the 5/7/5 syllable format, and must have a science / engineering theme?

In order of preference, I like these ones, because they manage to capture the spirit of haiku in some way (i.e. they capture an idea poetically, and have a sense of natural flow, rather than just an arrangement of words):

Had a look at your website and blog... Madness! This line really grabbed me: "Since God is everything, he is the chaos worshipped in the temple of the screaming electron, allowing for tunneling and free will."

I'm flattered by your compliment of 'madness." The interesting stuff happens on the fringe. The relative and ever-changing nature of knowledge, especially sociotechno constructs, guarantees that those with inspired attention to past experience, will project their predictions into the chaotic future domain, and will most definitely seem crazy.

A portion of the book I am writing is called Techno Monkey Transpoe, which reduces all of reality to the transport=manipulation of LIME (light info matter energy) through a global GRINT (Grid of Renewable Integrated Networked Technology). TMT reflects upon historical trends and creative extrapolates a homo perfectus future. Maybe you would help me edit some parts?

Sorry to stumble upon this so late. I'm making an effort to visit WORDS more frequently, and as such I saw this post which immediately drew my attention. I am an engineer, so I can appreciate the perspective. Also, I like Haikus, but I'll admit my wordsmith skills are weak and I'd be of little use to you poetically. An opinion is about the best I can offer.

The ones with alliteration were neat, but too much of a stumbling block to read, so I wasn't leaning towards any of them to be pushed forth. I like the following top five best:
