I just recently met a dude who pushes fantastic acid tabs on the regular last week, and bought two tabs from him on the spot. I took one that night to try it out and the trip was enjoyable but Insanely intense to say the least.

Now I'm not exactly knowledgeable on the topic of lsd, so i have little to no idea how the liquid is transferred onto paper. I've always thought it was dropped onto the individual squares, which leads me to my question. Due to the intensity of the trip, I'd like to split the tab and have a lighter ride. The first idea that came to mind was simply cut it in half.. but i was wondering what if there isn't acid on the entire tab?

I've read that you can soak the acid out of the tabs in water or alcohol. I don't know if that's true, but i was thinking I'd do that and split the liquid with a friend or something. Is that a better idea?

When laying tabs, a page or sheet even is placed into the LSD solution, where it gets into the paper and the alcohol that was in the solution is evaporated, leaving the LSD on the paper. There are times where the sheet or page isnt all even, however if the person who layed the page or sheet is a good layer, it should be all pretty close to even. That means that for the most part, each tab will have somewhat of the same dosage (in µg's).

So if you want to cut the tab in half it should be fine, if the person who was laying the original amount wasnt being sloppy.

One could try the method of extracting the LSD, but there's a chance it just wouldnt go all that well (word of advice, if you plan on doing this make sure you use ethanol or DISTILLED water, as the chlorine in regular water will destroy the LSD).

Just take half the tab, you should be fine. I find low dose (1 tab or less) to be absolutely wonderful, so you should be in for a grand time!

Great information man, thanks a lot. I read something about the dangers of tap water when doing that. I'll just cut it, hopefully it was a well "dipped" sheet. I'll let you know how it goes.

sure cut it man but be careful!
do it on a clean dry surface and preferably use a pair of tweezers and a sharp craft knife!
don't be gettin sticky fingers on it or mashing it up with crap scissors.
half tabs are the way to go for me these days. too much responsibility! you can always redose!
 
Professionally laid blotter is even.

However some blotter is made from liquid acid by people lower in the food chain sitting there with an eyedropper. That results in dosing about as accurate as it sounds like it would, and is of course not consistent when splitting the tab up. I have a batch of white on white blotter that does not split up evenly. 1/5th of a hit i once took had most of the acid on the tab *_* Was much more than i bargained for. While the rest of the hit taken a few weeks later was very weak.

So, unfortunately, it depends on the blotter. Most of it can be split up though.

The hardest part about splitting up acid is making sure the piece doesn't go flying when it finally cuts through. I've got a quarter of a blue shiva hit somewhere in the closet at my parent's vacation home....
 
speaking of cutting tabs, my friends dad told me when he was like 19 or 20 back when he lived in Ireland, he was selling half a tab to some dude. he was at his place and the guy cut the tab in half but they couldnt see where the other half went, so they were like whatever. my friends dad finished his tea and turns out.... it went into his tea. hes on the train and starts tripping, tries to buy a pack of cigarettes and keeps fucking it up haha
 
I have heard from people who actually made blotters that they used a dropper to meticulously put one drop onto each square. They did this so they could acurately judge the dosage.
 
^ A lot of times you wont get dropped blotter, unless of course its a small time supplier whos only laying like a sheet or less. Any more and its much easier to just dip a page.

Not saying it doesnt happen, just saying that more times than none what you're getting was originally part of a sheet, page, or book that was originally dipped and not individually dropped.

This isnt always the best rule to go by, seeing as most tabs dont have an indication of whether or not LSD got on the tab.

Ive seen many tabs where you can see sort of a spot where it looks like it was once wet, and ive had tabs that were completely blank, all of which were dosed with LSD.

Hell, the WoW I get looks like it was cut out of a book without ever touching a liquid solution, and its some of the highest dosed L around. (200+µg)

There's also a batch of further buses going around right now that have some odd brown discoloration on like half of the sheet (on the back), and both the white and the discolored brown are equally dosed.
