Saw an interesting post at another message board and thought I would make a post here. People have put bacteria to use creating chemicals by finding the gene in the plant that produces that chemical, splicing it into the genes of various bacteria and whatnot, and letting them reproduce.
Anyways, the question is, why not apply this to various drugs we know and love such as the Opium Poppy and the Coca Plant? Imagine how wonderful it would be to have your very own heroin brewery, set up in your cabinet: ). A little vial of bacteria would be much easier to hide than a plant or many plants, and much easier to take care of, just feed it a little sugar every now and then. Anyways, just a thought
