When someone like that can give their life to God - why can't everyone? It's not like he couldn't have gone down a path of hedonism. Inspirering.

Religious music.
Drug message board.

The song isn't all that great but title is ingenious.

Why wouldn't drug-addicts have any use for spiritual/religious music? Seems like the other way around. Or just the thing that's needed.

On some level yes Laika. But this is traditional spiritual music even delving in to deities. I would indulge for a bit, if you could sweet moderator-maybe you could encourage some discussion of the choices.

Like the Allison Krauss song is just beautiful. My kids even like it. This song made me actually want to be baptized in the water. My MIL was always on me about getting baptized. When I told her this, she was ticked, she was a Lutheran. She hissed at me "why don't you just be a BAPTIST THEN!"

Now that she is gone, I was reflecting on this with Pastor Bill who knew her well. He said he wished I would have told him that when she was alive. He said he would have liked to argue that with her that Martin Luther was actually a fan of immersion. Oh well, I never did have it done that way. Just a sea shell with some drops. Bummer. She always did win even after she died.

So basically this thread is about Spiritual Lyrics. Not spiritual music, since music is inherently spiritual.. Even the shittiest pop song only has "less" soul than the EPIC UBER GOD STATUS SAWNGZ.
