Ok thanks Alpha, I understand now. I didn't really feel tweaked out or paranoid as much as just feeling overpowered by the rush, then it subsides. Strange but I don't notice any of the usual negative lingering side effects of coke when it's IV'd. You described exactly how I felt man, and ya I don't care to make this a habit either. Seems pretty gnarly to be doing all the damn time.

I guess what I was originally wondering was if I almost OD'd or just caught a primo rush. And would it be somewhat safe to push the envelope and dose a bit more next time, only if this feeling isn't considered close to OD'ing? Seems like a very thin line here. Thanks for the responses fellas.

anyways, when you spike your vein you feel an initial cocaine rush. you feel instant coke euphoria, but then you still feel the warm taste of heroin in the back of your throat. instantly, you are geeked out from the stimulant and your heart is racing. you are geeked out, but in the back of your high is still a feeling of opiate bliss. then, as soon as the cocaine rush withers away you are in full heroin land, but still having the after-effects of a fat cocaine shot. at this point you are what I call "twacked out," neither experiencing a downer or an upper, but some debauched version of the two. speedballs are fun but it makes the next days w/ding pure hell.

Another thing I hear a lot is people feeling nauseous after IV'ing H. I never felt this from H alone, but it almost always happens from speedballs or just IV'ing coke by itself. I'd never heard of feeling nauseous from IV coke, but a little while ago I just puked after a strong rush. Had the bellringer, strange feeling in my tongue, and then ran to the bathroom to puke. Is this normal?

I've heard and experienced of nausea on IV coke, but it only occurs at high-end doses. The rush can be too much and cause you to get a little sick at first. I've also heard of people having to take a shit, even if they haven't eaten, after snorting/smoking/shooting coke.

Heroin is infamous for being extremely nauseating. Only reason it wouldn't be is you must be familiar with opiates, as any dose that makes you high will make you nauseate if you're opiate naive.

Personally, I get more nauseated the more heroin I do as my body starts to associate heroin use with puking. I've puked from just looking at brown soup whilst completely sober because my mind will associate that deep brown liquid to puking. When I binge about a week or two in I will puke every time I prep a shot, before injecting, because my mind know's what's up.

There's an actual medical term for this, it's the whole Pavel's Bell or whatever that experiment is with the dog salivating at the bell sound thing.

i kno i have gotten nausea like im gonna throw up at any second from iving to much coke, i couldnt stand to get to the bathroom. and my vision went blurry as if i had taken off my glasses, and vision was shaken. I closed my eyes when that started. my gf who was also my sitter ran and got some cold rags and put them on my neck and head. ill write the whole story later. but has anyone ever gotten sick feeling from doing speedballs? to diff things making u feel sick that has to suck.

I can't even IV enough coke to get to the ringing in the ears... if I hear it I know in another second I'll be running to the sink to puke, both when it's mixed with opiates and without, whether it's my first hit of the night or my 100th. So I use smaller doses, it feels nearly as good without any of the side effects of higher doses. Cut back a bit if the side effects bother you, the good thing about coke is even very small amounts kick ass with IV.

Yep I seemed to not be adding enough water to the amount of powder in the spoon. As we know cocaine is very soluble in small amounts of water, and the shots were just too strong before. Cut it down and it is still enjoyable now.

I've read people doing .5g in a single shot and have no idea how they get away without passing out.

first time i shot a speedball i threw up so hardcore it was intense. i know it was from the coke too cause ever since when i would shoot coke i would feel like i was gonna get sick. some times i even threw up from it. as far as euphoria and rush IV coke is the best. i hate it tho cause the crash sucks if u dont have any good downers.

i like my mix to be like 70/30 dope to coke....

too much coke kills the pleasure of the dope and makes it too edgy. its been a while since ive banged a speedball, they sure are good, but they are horrible for your body, especially ur heart.

Shitty coke? .5 G seems like way too much. I get .2 of rock and its about 3-5 good hits. Don't know how that converts to powder.

Tolerance, .5g shots are not unheard of at all. Many reports of upwards of a gram of high quality.

Good posts! I've just got a question on this and not trying to hijack the thread or anything.

I'm not sure if I'm flirting with O/D or just feeling a great high here. But when H and coke combined empty into my vein, it's so intense and has me enjoying it but at the same time has me saying "Oh shit, fuck fuck fuck, I hope it doesn't get more intense." It really has me thinking I'm about to die. Axl described the high well overall, but I'm just talking about the first minute or two, where it's soooo fuckin intense you feel like you're about to stop breathing and pass out. Hard to describe what I feel, but is this normal effect, or a close call with disaster?

The high from IV cocaine is inherently riding a knife edge between blissful bell ringer and overdose. I think an indicator that I’m pushing that edge to close is when my body shakes/tumors/convulses for the first couple minutes.

I did actually OD once and the entire experience was a full body seizure while being aware of the entire expedience.
