Cocaine Speedballl Survivability

Hey All,

If i were to prepare a speedball to bring to campus and use it today (5 classes, super busy day). It will be made from crack so it will contain a cocaine / vinegar solution and a heroin / wtersolution. How long can it survive and remain acrive in the syringe?
 
In a dark, cool enviroment then 24hrs should be safe enough, depending in how sterile the water was at the beginning and if the syringe is new and sterile. You can use a bit of clingfilm to stop contamination during the day. The coke solution would probably last alot longer as vinegar is a preserving agent anyway. Having said that, good HR practice woukd be to use the solution as soon as made to stop the risk of later contamination.
 
you also risk the heroin degrading in water. maybe you could prep the crack and bring the heroin powdered and fix the rest in the bathroom or something? ive always been told not to prep shots for later use, but then again i dont think its going to kill you or anything.

The advice relating to not pre-prepping shots I think is because if contamination. I was always taught the same and told it put too many variables into the frame ie. Temp changes, cross contamination. Plus im guessing in some parts of the world having a 'loaded' kit on you could be worse from a legal perspective then having the different parts. Im not 100% on that tho, just an educated hunch.lol
 
Obviously pre-prepping shots is not ideal and not recommended from an HR perspective. However, if you have no other choice then it should be fine. I've done it before with H only. I'm not sure though about the interaction of the crack and heroin together.. As someone above said, it might be a safer bet to prep one then add the other right before you shoot. Either way you do it, make sure you prep it right before you leave so it's in the syringe as little time as possible. Cap the needle and definitely wrap it in something like plastic wrap. And wash your hands and arms in the bathroom before going into a stall to shoot, and definitely bring some alcohol swabs to wipe the injection site and the syringe and needle right before you IV.

It's definitely not ideal from an HR perspective...but most of us have done it at some point. I used to do it when I would be at work for a long time at a trade show or something and needed to be able to just run into the bathroom, do my thing, and get back out there.. Ha.

I wouldn't advise keeping a shot more than 12-24 hours though.. you start pushing it after that unless it is in bacteriostatic water. If it is in bacto water, you can keep it in a solution much longer without risk.
 
I shot it about 4 hours later. Everything worked....better than expected for my first speedball lol. This can be closed. thx every1.
