speedball or mainlining just coke,which do you prefer

up untill recently I would have said speed ball myself as the dope takes the edge off of the coke but after having ived large amounts of coke at a time a few times recently I've found that I've gotten comfortable with a heavy coke rush and now enjoy some of the effects I used to find unpleasant such as the beautiful digitization of sounds, that rushing sensation right off the bat that light feeling in the legs when you try to walk around, ect ect.

Long story short, at this point in time it is straight IV coke for me with iv dope only when it's time to go to sleep.

How about you? Which one is your favorite and why? Also for bonus points include what the experience is like for you.
 
it kind of depends on both the quality of the coke and junk, but if it's adequate i'll take a speedball any day of the week over pure cocaine.
 
I've never done heroin, but I've shot dilaudid and coke a number of times. And I would ALWAYS choose the speedball over coke by itself; the hydromorphone really helps the god awful comedown from the coke and I don't have the fiendish compulsion to shoot up again in five minutes. As for a description, well it's pretty much beyond words....the rush is by far and away the best drug experience I can think of.
 
okay, when I was heavily into cocaine (while having a heroin habit), I prefered to shoot the coke by itself, and leave the last shot for a speedball to come down. Yes, a good speedball IMO is the ultimate high, one that no other combination of drugs can compare (or at least thats been my experience), but it's not economical, and this is my reasoning:

In my opinion, speedballing is a waste of dope if you do it any other way than how I described, as coke is so fucking fiendish. If I were to shoot dope with every shot of coke I did Id go through a bundle in about 30 minutes (though I'd probably be dead by then..) If you are one of those people that can wait five hours between each shot of blow, than I could understand using it that way, but I personally never could. I was basically a chain coke shooter, waiting a maximum of twenty minutes between shots. Granted, this is highly dangerous, and I ran into some serious problems due to using in this pattern. However, I really feel like the idea of using I.V coke in a safe and responsible manner is pretty much laughable. Shooting coke is like playing russian roulette. It gives you a great rush, but the whole point is to really push it as far as you go, and the threshold between overdosing and getting that heavenly bellringer is pretty small.

Sorry if I posted it in the wrong forum, could someone please elaborate as to why it didn't belong in other drugs and please explain what HR means? Maybe harm reduction? thats all I could come up with.

i've got to say that the rush from IVing coke is absolutely amazing. For me sounds, for a lack of a better term, become somewhat digitalized, I get an extreme rush of euphoria and feel like I could conquer the world. I get a wonderful physical sensation and if I do enough my legs feel extremely light and walking around produced a very interesting sensation almost like Im walking on the moon. Strange enough. for me, I don't get as much of a compulsion to use more as I do when just snorting. I'm able to control my use much better usually waiting upwards of an hour or so between shots.
When I throw heroin into the mix the sensation is pretty much the same with added euphoria, the physical aspects of the coke rush are somewhat dulled though which is why I would much rather just shoot coke by itself. I don't really get that walking on the moon sensation. Sounds are still distorted and that little bit of a compulsion to use more after that initial cocaine rush is over are completely removed.
Don't get me wrong speedballing is an amazing experience but when it comes down to it I've got to agree with Znegative, I believe it to be a waste of both coke and dope.

Maybe to throw a little bit of harm reduction discussion into this thread(though Znegative had it right in saying that harm reduction on this topic is pretty laughable, shooting anything is dangerous, shooting coke is extremely dangerous and mixing stimulants and depressants in a shot is possibly one of the most dangerous things you can do): What ratio of coke and heroin do you find to work the best for you rush-wise? Do you like to add more coke, more dope, pretty much the same amount? And what dosages of the two do you like to use? Or if just using cocaine what dosage do you like to use?
