Speed????

I am not sure where this thread would go but, I am giving some thought to trying out speed. I have read all about it. And research does not equal out. Meaning the cons out weigh the pros, but I just want your views on it. Whether you have done it, do it, or if a friend has done it or still does it. I want to hear from the average person (stories). Yes I have been on Erowid. I pretty much have that site memorized. Please respond. :)
 
IMO speed is cool for parties, school, or studying.
Sweating and fast heart beat suck, but are not usually noticable for me with good speed. I like dextroamphetamine personally, doesn't seem to keep me up at night as much as meth.
Don't care for coke, would rather do ritalin or something.
I don't get much urge to do it because I am more into psychedelics, but using it for multiple days in a row is usually a no no. Pretty hard on my body honestly, and that's after just a day or two.
Keep some benzos handy. Speed comedowns aren't worse than coke, at least for me, but they still suck. Knocking myself out for a good 12 hours with some valium is usually a good chance for a sunday recovery.

When you say speed are you talking about methamphetamine or just plain old amphetamine?

i don't really know a whole lot about it yet. so can you tell me the difference? I believe amphetamine. Thats most i have been reading up on.
And I am also more into the psychedelics. Just kind of curious about speed.
 
Well there is amphetamine, dextroamphetamine, and methamphetamine. IMHO, it is all the same effect, but some are a smoother high, others are more of a rough and bumpy high. Also meth lasts longer than the other two, results may vary tho.
I don't think speed is that bad. When it's like crank shit that has been cut to hell with ajax in some sweaty dude's basement then you are getting into a pretty fucking dirty zone.
If you can get decently good meth, then honestly there are worse things you could be doing, like drinking alcohol (imo hehe)
 
Personally, I like meth...I've never tried any other versions of speed really (I don't consider coke a version of speed). It seems like you're getting more for your money. As for your first time doing it, perhaps ya oughta find some meth heads....seems they'll be able to answer your questions while you're doin it and the energy is contagious. At first, I just enjoyed doing it in binges cause I actually felt something...dont ask, I don't have a clue where the logic lie in that one. However, it gets a lil better with time. I feel more now from it than I used to assuming it's good stuff.
 
There are TONS of speed experiences in the OD archives. Please, do a search of the archive before posting in this forum!
