speed headache

today I tried a small amount of speed/meth, whatever u ppl call it I didnt have much and it didnt do much but give me a bitch of a headache not long after.
What is in it that causes this and how can I avoid it. I dont want to do the rest because the pain was nasty.
How often does ur gear give u a headache, ive had it before, does that mean my stuff is dirty?

could be a lot of reasons dude.... bad cutter, residueal chemical. not washed enough.
dehydration headache????

i'm putting my money on water :D

+1 with the water idea although I'd suggest aspirin (over paracetamol) seeing as it's a blood thinner.

Hence why I put it in italics - (over) generalising the term.

Re "blood thinners", didn't want to over complicate the situation going on about thrombolytics, anticoagulants and antiplatelets.

I was more thinking along the lines of a common cause of headaches due to vasoconstriction.

It won't ease vasoconstriction, it will help prevent a clot which can lead to a stroke. But it is a good OTC analgesic.

And if it's that's bad, you can take aspirin with paracetamol (slightly different MOA) and small amounts of caffeine.

^ Yeah they've got that new Panadol Extra with paracetamol and caffeine in it. I haven't tried it yet, I drink enough coffee that it would do about as much as taking two Panadeine do for me.

anything could of caused ur headache. have you consumed any other drugs around the same time? including alcohol? If yes, your dopamine, serotonin levels in your brain (the stuff that makes you happy etc) may have been depleted or not responding properly. how were you feeling on the day? was it hot and/or were you tired, this may be a reason as stated above. Just say it was hot and you had been out in the sun all day then most probably your body was dehydrated and when you consumed the methamp it would have just accelerated your dehydration, if you were dehydrated the meth could have quickened/hightened your body's awareness to it causing ur headache. in truth it could have been a number of things, noone can really tell you with 100% accuracy. it could of even been as simpleas ur body/brain not used to it. but the things i can absolutely guarentee to you about the speed/meth you consumed and any that you may consume in the future is;
-the speed/meth you buy will always be cut no matter how much the dealer says otherwise or by how much its sold or called. but it is most unlikely the cuts used would be anymore harmfull to you then the methamphetamine itself, it doesnt make sense in a money-makeing point of view to use something that makes people sick and not come back.
-all speed is illegally made, so there's no controls on how its made and in what environment. therefore all speed/methamphetamine is what you called 'dirty' or has impurities.

I would guess it was caused by high blood pressure or dehydration too. Try taking a bit less next time and making sure you keep hydrated (just drink the normal amount you'd drink, not more. Meth often makes you forget you need to drink/eat).
