Hello. I'm sorry I dont know where to post this...

I have been morbidly obese all my adult life but after a year of hard work I have finally lost 61lb. My loss has got really really hard work now so I started doing coke to stave off hunger pangs, but I don't have an income to maintain this, so I asked around and managed to get some speed. I'm a total novice and was ex pectin some powder to snort, but was given a paste and told to put it in the freezer, chop a bit off and bomb it after breakfast (I just want to eat 1 large healthy meal each day). Is this right? How will I know how much to take? I am usually a social coke and weed user, but have no experience of speed. Thanks x

Hello hairbrush, welcome to BL :D. We refer to ourselves as "I" on this forum. Unless you were actually concerned about your cat's weight and wanted to give it drugs to slim down then I'd have to close this /:.

However, in reading your post I've come across a few concerns;
Firstly, using any stimulant to lose weight is a horrible, unhealthy idea. These drugs will screw with your metabolism and when you stop using them you'll just end back up with all the weight you tried to lose. It's not effective, this method.

Secondly, you admitted that you don't have an income to maintain a coke habit. You mainly don't want one to begin with and not having the money to support it makes me question money to maintain a speed habit?

My suggestion for you is to drink a lot of water, stop eating anything after 6 and have a big lunch with a healthy breakfast. You wanna lose weight then do it in a healthy way. Don't sacrifice your brain cells and disrupt your metabolism with dirty speed. It's simply not worth it and ineffective.
Most will say exercise but if you can't do that then start walking. Baby steps. Rome wasn't built in a day. A calorie deficit, with a healthy meal and a bit of exercise can take you a long way. I mean it with the no dinner after 6 and big lunch. It's quite an effective way to lose weight without having to workout. I lost 25lbs in 6 months by doing that.

Of course I'm not a health specialist but doing it this way will be far more worthwhile than trying to lose a bunch of weight with dirty uppers.

This.
80% diet, 20% exercise. Use an online calculator to find your TDEE, minus 500 cals from that (or more if you're still pretty big, no offence) and you'll be losing a lb a week. I seriously recommend weightlifting - follow a set workout like Starting strength or similar - you may end up with loose skin if you're losing fat quite quickly and then extra muscle will help fill that out

Oh yeah and no, drugs for weightloss is a bad idea as ^ said

^ Everything they said. As a side note, eating one large meal a day is actually not a good way to loose weight. For people trying to do this it's recommended they eat 5-6 small meals a day, it will greatly increase your metabolism.

i can recommend a stepcounter device. You can have it in your pocket while walking just a normal pace and it will keep track of how many steps you've taken that day and show by that how many kcal you have lost.

It's also a good motivater, you can program it so that you start out with 5thousend steps everyday. And after a few weeks you will probably feel more energetic and the condition improves and suddenly you notice that 5thousend steps each day is nothing. Then you can move up to 7.5k steps or 10k steps.
Also buy healthy food. Sallad is very cheap and you can buy big 2kg cabbage for maybe 10 dollars, and cut that up and freeze it in and use at your meals. Also beans are very nutritios (nutritous? sry english is not my nativ language). Beans have lots of protein in it and you can buy 1kg of dried beans for 20sek ( aprox. 2 USD dollars) if you live in USA that is.

Also fish is very good for you. If im not mistaken it's low in "bad" fat and always buy wholemeal rice or pasta, same with bread look for bread with high fibers. Carrots are also excellent snacks just slowly boil them so they're not so hard to chew at hehe..

And potatoes are always good and low fat and very cheap!

Amphetamines do cause "significant" weight loss, but it's usually only a fraction of a pound in magnitude after several weeks.
In other words, amphetamines do NOT cause much weight loss at all.
You have to eat less if you want to lose weight.

When I first started using speed 11 or 12 years ago I was overweight. A couple of years into it people said I looked emaciated. My parents thought I was anorexic. I stopped shortly after that and within a few years I gained back all the weight plus a whole lot more. I got all the way up to 310 lbs (I'm 5'9"). I was able to eventually lose the weight but only through very hard work, mostly diet/portion control, keeping a diary of everything I ate, counting calories and eating nutritionally balanced meals. I started using again recently but I always make sure to eat little snacks and drinks lots and lots of water when high. Working with a nutritionist was absolutely key. I don't know what country you live in but my insurance covered the cost. It's not worth it to use speed just for weight loss. You may soon find yourself doing things you never would've believed you would ever do in order to feed that huge monkey on your back when you don't have any money.
