Speed & Cocaine (theory)

Ok just testing a litle theory.
Speed (Amphetamine) works if I understand correctly by flooding the synapse with dopamine and Coke produces its rush by blocking the re-uptake of dopamine.
So would a line of speed followed by a line of coke be significantly more euphoric on a mg/mg basis than either substance could be by itself.
i.e. Amphetamine send a message to release dopamine then the coke blocks the re-uptake locking the dopamine in the synapse. I'm sure this would be far more nurotoxic than either alone because of MAO braking dopamine down into peroxide (is it peroxide?). Could use of a short lasting MAOI stop this brake down and help stop nuerotoxicity. Would receptor downgrading ocur anyway. Is my logic totaly off on this one or would it work?
Anyone tried it?

Some of my friends uses coke with speed. They "cut" the coke with speed in half-half amount. I never tried it b/c I love coke by itself :)
As they told me, its more fun than u take speed only, but its not that euphoric than coke...but maybe lasts longer :)

Thanks, I'm sure letting the speed kick in first before taking the coke would be far better though.
Can anyone see a problem with my reasoning?

Yep, they do produce a snergy. However you should be aware that amphetamines have a more profound impact on the norepenephrine systems than dopamine... But coke blocks those as well...

I've never tried this, so I can't say what it would feel... probably they would add up but who knows. When dealing with subjective effects, things get very complicated, so it's hard to predict from these little theories. On a side note keep in mind that amphetamines can have an effect on DA reuptake themselves.
As far as neurotoxicity, though, I can tell you coke is not neurotoxic, not even at ridiculously high doses. Current research suggests that METH-induced neurotoxicity occurs by a very similar process as MDMA-induced neurotoxicity, likely mediated by a metabolite of METH. I don't know for sure whether coke would increase meth's neurotoxicity but I doubt it.

Which is why I asked this question. Because I would presume this combo would lock the DA in causeing toxicity.
Oh and by the by I was talking about Amphetamine not Meth altough the end result may be similar.

Thanks Nymph that was a pretty stupid thing for me to say. :)
