Hey, i got these caps and I'm almost certain that they are speed. So I dropped 2 and i am planning on drinking. When I get home would it be safe to use mirtazapine to sleep?

You "think" the pills are speed - so you are not sure what they are! We can't tell you if combinations are safe if we don't know what one of the ingredients is... I'm sure you can see how potentially dangerous that might be.

For future info - while mirtazepine should be okay after amphetamines - be aware it is an antidepressant, not a sleep aid, however well it might work in that respect! I'm not really a fan of people using antideps/antipshcyotics to sleep, they are pretty powerful drugs and can do all sorts to your neurochemistry (and have pretty nasty side effectts sometimes).

Go steady on the alcohol with the mystery caps too. Again, you don't know what they are for sure, and in general it's best not to get really drunk when you're high on other things, especially unknown things!!

Have fun, but stay safe :)

Ive never done speed, but i would think mixing an upper and a downer couldn't have a good effect

I have used mirtazapine to come down off methamphet MANY times. Nearly as many as I've used meth.

I have used it for sleep after numerous RCs too, works fine and will aid with sleep but hold off as long as you can on dosing it IMO

I have been prescribed both anti-psychotics and mirtazepine for sleep. I will have to agree with you 100 fold in this regard. Side effects are horrid.

Mirtazepine is honestly the most horrible drug for sleep. Though lower dosages are more sedative at least, 7.5mg or 15mg.

Mirtazipine only exhibits strong sedation in lower dosage threshold 7.5 - 30mg when you get above 30mg it loses its sedation and actually can be somewhat stimulating (not in an amphetamine like way just in a way you don't want if you are trying to get to sleep)

Mixing any sedatives can always end poorly, so if you are planning on drinking a lot I'd say skip the mirtazipine. or at least wait it out until you are sobered up from the booze. I know you'll want to sleep form the stim crash but its not worth putting yourself into respiratory depression from too much alchol + mirtazipine.

with just a few beers, sure you are probably ok, but again its really not an area you want to toe the line with.. you'd rather wake up feeling bad from barely sleeping after a stim crash then wake up in a hospital bed due to sedative overdose...

Also, if you do take all of the drugs, try to hydrate yourself before sleeping. Alcohol's hangover effects are one thing, but mirtazipine for insomnia had always left me feeling funny in the morning, dry and groggy, adding that to a booze hangover is something i never want to experience. So try to ditch as many of the adverse side effects as you can - try to drink at least a full glass of water before bed...
