If you always berate poor thread starters who are trying to clarify some question with "utfse," you won't see the great phenomenon of mass discussion and experience yielding more accurate answers.
Unless you have 20 threads on some subject, you''ll always have that one "internet pro" in the thread who spits out some bullshit that he pieced together from totse, cbs, and his mom into one collective assured statement that people soon start to accept as (bluelight) fact.
Overzealous modding leads to people relying on outdated threads from 2003 to get their information and questions that may sound silly but could have led to some productive discussion never coming about.
What, are you gonna be closing potentiation threads now just because somebody's asked about potentiating that particular substance before? Letting those threads go is the only way to help clarify a topic and limit the adherence to drug 'folk belief.' Of course, you can get the exact oposite to happen if you let all threads run loose, and believe me, I get as frustrated as anyone with the same stupid questions being asked repeatedly, but nonetheless, this is something to be careful about....
