Def a great episode... the Heavy Metal scenes were pure classic... some were almost straight out of original comic books and Heavy Metal 2000 (with additional boobs added).

Pretty sure the ep was a stab at the "Jenkem" nonsense that was going around the news for awhile. Definitely fuckin hilarious through and through.

Matt and Trey you guys have way outdone yourselves.

That was the best piece of satire I've seen in a long time. From the totally rockin heavy metal reference to the Anne Frank jokes to the episode pointing out the fact that anti drug programs probably get more kids interested in dugs than they deter, and the news report that perfectly mimics all the anti salvia reports I've been seeing on my local news lately, this episode was simply amazing and my new favorite knocking the scientology episode from it's place.

Way to go guys!

If you listen to kyles dad giving his speech (ala chuck schumer lol) he lists a bunch of stuff to get high off of, and 'fermented feces' is one of them hehe

Definitely an amazing episode, best in quite some time. They really tapped back into the old formula that made their best episodes. It had a message, lots of current events, gave tribute to some old nestalgia. It was a work of art, they really put their best into that one :)

You rule Matt n Trey!

The only thing I didnt like about the episode is what they did with Cartman.

They had him actually do a nice thing and there was no twist to it. Usually, if cartman does something there is usually some demented reason why he is doing it. However this time he collected and saved all the cats because he was genuinely being nice. Thats not really like him. I was hoping he was saving all the cats so he could later sell them to the Chinese restaurant or something crazy like that. Nope, he just saved all the cats in his attic to be nice and then at the end of the episode he gave them back to the owners. That is totally not like Cartman at all.

I think that cartman loves cats for the same reason another place on the internet loves cats. because they are the only animals as self centered as him lol.

This episode was fuckin great tho. I was laughin my ass off the whole time. I dont think they ripped off heavy metal. they were obviously doin a tribute to it in their own way. i like how they really took the time out to animate it just like the original in the same style n evertthing.

He saved Kyle's family from hippies in S.F. too. Sometimes Cartman actually displays something resembling humanity.

You're right about the cat thing, TALLY. It was the first time (that I can think of) Cartman has acted completely out of character.

The joke was that Cartman was saving cats from being put into prisons like Jews in WWII. Notice the Anne Frank Diary references? The joke was that he's not bright enough to get the cat/Jew parallel while he rags on Stan all the time for being a Jew.

No, there was an alterior motive. He needed Kyle to rip on for being a Jew, not because he actually was being nice.

I don't know guys, cartman has always loved his mister kitty (unless kitty wants cartmans chocolate chip powdered doughnut pancake surprise, then that's a BAD MISTER KITTY). Sure, I think the piggy got more love, but him protecting his cat wasn't totally out of character.

And he remained a die hard anti-semite throughout, so can't really complain :) I thought it was really well done, I liked when they would have multipul story lines running, those always make for the best episodes.

I dreaded the second heavy metal part with kyle's dad when I saw it starting. One heavy metal reference per 20 minutes is my limit.

South Park is one of my favorite shows on television. To me, nothing is slipping. It's still quality.

I'd actually say it's the best it's ever been. :)

I will agree the Canada on strike one wasn't too funny... but overall I don't think South Park has fallen off at all in recent years. In fact, the last three or four seasons are MUCH funnier than the first three or four.

The Britney Spears one was fucking worse than the Canada On Strike on.

Yeah, the series has gone way way downhill. Theres usually only like 1 or 2 good episodes per season.

spears one was ok...though I was so drunk I can't remember most of it now, so that's probably playing some role in my decision on that one..........hehe =p

Canada one was horrible though, it's like they put all that effort into the boobage, and decided to spend the next week slacking off =\
