Note: All "I"'s pertaining to myself will not be capitalized for a while in my poetry because I'm feeling quite low, and I don't feel that I deserve capitalization.
Grief numbs my encumbered heart,
as a salty poison ostensibly erodes what
faint remaining sanity i had.
The insidious path i so wrongfully selected
has finally become the destruction of those around me,
as well as myself.
On the eve of destruction, altruism gave way to
pure selfishness.
Thus was the fall of humanity,
and is now the downfall of myself.
Sorry, again
disheartened
i look in the mirror
purple circles accentuate the fatigue
pink blotches reveal the endless time spent mourning the loss
my chin trembles, and i fight back more weeping
however, eventually, the dam breaks and rushes down my face
i cannot apologize enough
i cannot hurt enough
to nullify this wrong--
not to make it right, for that can't happen, just to make it disappear,
or to make it less than disastrous
but i need to let it go
so i leave it alone
and keep it in my thoughts
I have several more poems I shall type up later, but I am currently under a time crunch, so I apologize.
