Opioids Sorry, this is gross..but opiate wd symptoms

I agree for the most part.

Although there is a difference for calling someone an idiot regarding difference of opinion, vs calling someone an idiot for disregarding fact. Granted there NEVER is justification for insulting someone (it totally weakens your argument from a pragmatic standpoint), but....calling someone an idiot for a different opinion, vs calling someone who says the sky is purple an idiot?

Ignoring facts and differing opinions; two wildly different ballgames imo. Though you are correct, never justified in insulting someone. It just proves you have no real facts or proof to back up what your saying, besides name calling. If you have something useful to say regarding a topic, you say it, you dont call the other person an idiot. Saying such things is kind of an ironic statement in and of itself to boot, considering someone who contributes "you're an idiot" instead of helpful info...well i'll let you fill in the thought.

And PAWS can happen anytime after withdrawals. Hence why its called: Post Acute withdrawal syndrome

yes exactly POST acute...and it's a she..not a he.
didn't hurt my feelings..
you're just rude and unhelpful..so what's the point?

and NO ONE gets high off of immodium buddy..it's all placebo...you really think the DEA would be cool with having an abusable opiate OTC in pharmacies? and to correct myself it DOES cross the blood-brain barrier but get's immediately thrown out by P-glycoprotein...so unless you have some P-glycoprotein inhibitors around, your not gonna have much luck...and good luck trying to order some Cereport (RMP-7) or Quinidine online! hahaha

Adding loperamide now, seeing as how it still has opiate effects on the digestive system, and as how the body needs time to regain the normal functions lost due to opiate use, is counterproductive.

I'd also avoid loperamide at this point and also things that stimulate your bowels. In my experience caffeine really seems to prolong digestive problems and a ciggs dont help neither.

In general, avoid opiates and diuretics,as the former will only postpone, and the latter will intensify thing as well as cause a greater hydration risk.

When I come off opiates I will have the shits for weeks and sometimes months. I believe I have some ibs as well. I'm an anxious person and a worrier. However taking immodium for long amounts of time like I have is not a good idea, as mentioned here several times. I thought I had khrons (sp?) Or just it would last forever. I knew I would end up having to stop taking it but the work I do doesn't lend itself for me to have the runs.
Anyways I believe that when I relapse it fucks up the natural bacteria in my stomach. So now what I do when I relapse is take some colon health with those bacteria in it and regularly eat activia yogurt. It ends up regulating me and has helped tremendously for my bowel problems.
