I was given a blood transfusion about a month ago now, and the vein that they used now has a hard lump there. It seems to have collapsed the vein. The lump isn't inflamed and it's not an emergency situation, but it hurts like hell when I extend my arm or press on it.
I have no experience with this. Could someone let me know what this could be and how to deal with it? Is this scar tissue or something else?
