Dids the e song ghat speaks to you change depending on what you're using at the hime. No, not using "this time" but something that you really get into, have a mini love affair with? You see the sing "I'll find my way home." By Jon and Vangelis has always just come into my mind when I'm using anything that makes me a little introspective, nade me think about my life and what I was doing in it, if that makes sense?

I could relate to anything by Eminem when having a session on crack. But the first song was like a reflection of my life to date.

Surry I couldn't type out all of the lyrics but I have a problem with my vision ATM and I can see 3 of everything, but just from one eye. I'll post a part of it.

You ou ask me where to begin,
Am I so lost in my sin.
You ask me where did I fall,
I say I can't tell you when.
But if my spirit is lost,
How will I find what is near.
Don't question I'm not alone,
Somehow I'll find my way home.

My sun shall rise in the east,
So shall my heart be at peace.
And if you're asking me when, I'll say it starts at the end.
You know your will to be free,
Is matched with love secretly.
And talk will alter your prayer,
Somehow you'll find you are there.

Your friend is close by your side,
And speaks in far ancient tongue.
A seasons wish will come true,
All seasons begin with you.
One world we all come from,
One world we melt into one.
Just hold my hand and we're there,
Somehow we're going somewhere,
Somehow we're going somewhere.
No question I'm not alone,
Somehow I'll find my way home,
Somehow I'll find my way home.
Somehow I'll find my way home.

Wow, makes me shiver when just reading the words. It's not just a song, it's poetry for the soul. The time it came out, in, it was a special time for me, for a lot of people. Like a theme tune for the age. The 60s to the end of the 70s. It felt like there had been a huge shift in prkole, not just music. Like so many people had become so aware of themselves, and by extension of everything around them. It was a time of reflection, of seeing the bigger picture. But most importantly I felt it was ok to talk about this shift in self awareness, not feeling like you had to defer to an older generation, just cos they were older. It was my music, not the stuff that had been around for the last generation, my music.

Yeah man.

You ask me where to begin,
Am I so lost in my sin.
You ask me where did I fall,
I say I can't tell you when.
But if my spirit is strong,
I know it can't be long.

She’s Always A Woman by Billy Joel…my mother used to say this song reminds her of me. A song about loving a complicated woman.
