songs you feel in your bones

One or two posts above led to to look this up (not necessarily something that I feel in my bones as per the actual thread title).

How befitting i.e. coincidence:

"the track on 'Dancing into the 90's' 0n New Years Eve 1999 on CH4. featuring dancers Marc Massive & George Long."

Dunno if this crowd eve made it to fame outside of the UK. But I'm sure there's one or two old time clubbers here that'll remember the song and who knows was maybe there. I know this was part of a much bigger rave and live concert (Adamski played either before or after this) (only reason I know this is because I had the full thing on VHS in a previous life).

Best part (and didn't know this until today):

"Everything Starts With an 'E'" was a controversial track due to its lyrics, explicitly dealing with drugs, and in particular ecstasy. MC Kinky noted that the song was banned by BBC Radio 1 when it was released because of the lyrics." Quite a laugh considering...

Unforgettable melancholy from this "realest" of country singers, a man who walked the same dark path in life as in song: Mel Street, Oct. 21, 1935 – Oct. 21, 1978.

So mister play your fiddle please, play some mountain memories.
I've been down a lonely road so far from home.
Nothing left to hold on to, I made some plans but they fell through.
Now there's nothing left for me but my Smokey Mountain memories
