so my friends and i are pretty convinced this song is about ecstasy. listen to the lyrics and watch the video. at the beginning of the video he puts a piece of gum in his mouth too. talks about the come down and everything.. what do yall think? heres the vid

You can perceive many many many songs are about Ecstasy or other drugs in general. It's all about how you interpret the words... which is all personal so there isn't really a wrong answer.

I'm not convinced this one is about drugs but I suppose it's possible.
 
I'm with you dude. The video and the lyrics show it, but the fact that he used the word "ecstasy" shows that he's either trying to send a message or completely oblivious.

Plus the music has a very "warm" sound to it.

When the song came out they denied it was about ecstasy at all. I guess when it hits #1 on the charts and it's about an illegal dangerous substance, you have to deny any association for fear of people banning it or something.
