bliss IS smiling right now...a cocky i-told-you-so smile :) i find it extremely hard to believe that anyone could dislike "plainsong" i find it to be musically one of the most beautiful cure songs ever...it's almost magical. but i guess that's just my(and mini's)humble little opinion.
sticking with disintegration one of my favorite sinlge lines ever is from "the same deep water as you" i could listen to robert say this over and over again....

You know, ever since the xmas references were brought up, something in the back of my head was telling me ti listen to SA... and yet I didn't. I should have followed my instincts.
 
Disintegration was actually the first cure album i ever owned, and it totally changed my musical outlook...i highly recommend that one :)

have you ever seen the video? it's set out in a blizzard somewhere way north and they have real palm tree as props and persian rugs all over the place. the band members are all bundled up in big thick coats, gloves, and boots (you can tell it freeeeeeeeeeezing). and there's some guy dressed up in a polar bear costume running around.
it's a beautiful piece of work. :)

firstly, i love i love i love the cure.
secondly, i can't add any lyrics right now cause i'm fucked, but i had to point out two things - i'm meeting robert smith in a few weeks, he lives not far from where i do in london ;) and secondly - on NYE at ministry of sound's big event, tiesto dropped a track which clearly clearly clearly sampled 'a forest' - and it was fucking amazingly wonderful.

/me is sad that I didn't get tix to the last San Deigo show, so I had to sit outside the ampitheater and listen, which was still quite incredible... Me and Pyro lounging around smoking cloves, laying on the sidewalk with all the other peeps with no tickets, singing along. It was lovely.
I have yet to see the cure live :( They are probably the only band that I havent seen like that I absolutly need to see (and seeing as how I've been to 2-300 concerts, thats saying a lot)

awww...i missed my cure babies!!!! especially miss mini :) and of course spencer...all i have to say is the cure + cloves = yummy! a friend of mine(the gay male equivalent of myself when it comes to cure passion) got to meet them after a small show they played out here when bloodflowers came out. he didn't just meet them, he sat down and had a freaking BEER WITH ROBERT SMITH!! A BEER! he said he almost cried, and he had robert sign an unopened box set(integration) he had been saving all his life for if he ever came across this opportunity...i almost cried when he told me...alright for today....a tidbit from jupiter crash...
