Walking through the scared sacred forests of hello
Madman whispers of poetic license, strange verbal rites, and bastard curses in your ear
This dream screams of fear
This is a phobic need for normalcy

Sipping wine and thinking of streetlights
The blank confessions of taxi drivers ringing like a sound track
A collage of bums painted across your eyeballs
And an incipient need for speed
These are your last thoughts before head hits pillow

Surfing solar flares on the rusted shell of a Winnebago
The roar of the magnetic tide pulsing with your heart beat
Red, yellow rush
A midnight wet dream across Mercury’s charred face
This is dissatisfaction

Smoking 3:am, sitting in gasoline, and wrapped in bitter wet blankets with your cock in hand
Dreaming of her
Smiling
Dancing
Smirking
Waiting
This is obsession

Jacked into 8:30’s pulse
Surround by cubes, co-workers, devils, and slave drivers
This is a dealer’s twisted joke
A needle full of reality
The saccharin hell of a placebo
This should be every child’s worse nightmare

Lying desk like in some faint classroom
The forced appearance of jackals and the haze of over-lectured sleep
Finally the chalkboard makes some sense
The demented professor’s final equation
Chalked up insane
Mania radiating Pandora’s final thoughts
Dripping with effort his hand finally drops
Hope = Darkness
Somewhere clowns are laughing

DUDE...that was fucking AWESOME. That was some beautiful imagery there, your wordplay is really great!

You've got this way of writing which is really matter-of-fact but at the same time intense and full of meaning.

Much enjoyed. :)

I tend to like, short terse phrasing and scentences,
I think that style often limits my length though. :)

:) I'm glad that other like some of the things that bounce around in my head to. =D

nice.

Read any Ron Pagdett? Well, it striked me as very Padgett-esque (forgive me, I'm making all kinds of "esque" comments tonight). I like the rapid dissimilar images that flood past like a series of photographs, and the images are detailed enough so that each retains distinction. A very Padgett-ish quality. :)
