Somewhat amusing internet links that probably don't merit their own threads

do you get free flights because of your dads job? is he a commercial pilot?

do you get free flights because of your dads job? is he a commercial pilot?

have had free flights before, he used to be a normal commercial pilot working for different companies and I flew free occasionally, once went to Vancouver the whole way from Manchester in the cockpit.. would not be allowed to do that now

since moving to Portugal he is working for a private jet company and we got a certain number of free flights last year but that was just for the first year, back on easyJet now :)

Beardyman Live - Right Now!

Merge this to one of the daft link threads later, just thought I'd get this posted where it'll get noticed seeing as it's live at the moment.

It's just him on a web cam with some mad looping gear.

He's currently taking requests for covers, this is actually dynamite. Doing some Stevie Wonder right now haha.

"Very superstitious, writings on the wall" %)

^Tune your set to a frequency emitted by a nearby pulsar! God really will leak through yer stereo! :D

These are radio wave emissions, you can literally just listen to them. :)

The Millisecond Pulsar Symphony from the 47 Tucanae Star Cluster <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

These radio emissions are caused by rapid fluctuations in the magnetic field of the pulsar, which emits radiation. Since a pulsar is spinning, the radiation is only emitted in our direction at regular intervals (or "pulses")-- some pulsars spin so fast that the pulses congeal into a musical note. In the case of the 47 Tucanae pulsar cluster, there are 22 pulsars in vicinity of each other each emitting their own musical note; literally creating a symphony from space. :) <3

Reposted from PD for coolness. You can hear space, man. Cosmic :)
