I do this too with my celexa!! lol I hate anti depressants..

yep, i have like 10 boxes and 7 bottles of lexapro, never taken one. The side effects are terrible and they say it takes like a month to see the effects. OH an no sex drive...I'd rather be depressed.

If you actually look into the effects of SSRI's, they arn't to "pleasent" ironically. I stay away from them like the plague. Sure they can help for some people, but I don't want anything to do with them.

I learnt my lesson quickly with questioning my Dr. First I questioned needing to be on suboxone, he instantly took 1/6th of my kpins away. He's a psychiatrist, like he doesn't know thats behavior conditioning and to not question or theres consequences. I had to sacrifice a 300mg dose of gabapentin for 100mg, but I needed a scape goat drug to question my doc with. I mentioned coming off paxil, and he said he takes a while to work, I told him its been years, he told me then whats the harm with some more. what? Seriously?

So no more questions for me. I go to my apointments, yup, everythings great. Go fill all my scripts, in case he checks, and now if the US currency is ever backed with Paxil, or its found to promote invincibility, or it prevents gamma radition - well I'm all set.

I know you said that you're on these for bi-polar/anxiety, but

Trazodone, Geodon , Requip, Effexor XR together, to me atleast, would seem to put quite a stress on the brain, and almost certainly tire you out. You might want to ask your Dr. if you can switch, and preferably combine two.

Nothing you can really do about the insulin, and metformin, so leave those alone.

That's what I'd like to do, combine these into one happy little pill rather then choking down 100 pills a day. (OK slight exaggeration but you know what I mean)

Xanax,Neurontin,Percocet: You probably already have a tolerance to the neurontin, but sometimes lowering the dose a little will help if that's tiring you. Not sure you're xanax dosage scheldule, but perhaps switching to clonazepam or diazepam - a longer acting benzo - you could take less pills/be less tired. As for the percocet, do you have pain associated with depression? Or nerve pain? Just curious because of the gabapentin/perc, and I'd guess you probably aren't prescribed a high dose since it's perc and not oc, so that probably isn't making you tired, however, if you take several maybe you could go to a time released oc.

I take Neurontin for back pain. I use to wake up in severe pain so the psych decided that Neurontin would be best for sleep and the back pain.

The Percocet is for RLS (restless leg syndrome). I'm on Requip for it also. I'm actually thinking of asking him for Roxicodone instead of Percocet to get rid of the APAP.

I'm going to have a nice talk with my psych about combining meds or cutting some back and if not I'm off to see another psych. I already requested my records and am picking them up at my next appointment.
