Something solid from blood caught in syringe

SWIM was IVing the other night, and once SWIM was done, they had a solid matter inside the syringe. It had came from SWIM's blood. Here are pictures:

Any guess as to what it could be?

Probably coagulated blood. We don't use SWIM here. And we also discourage threads that are purely speculative. However I'm pretty sure it's just blood that has solidified.

Looks like blood to me, nothing we can do but speculate though, which is not really helpful, as it accomplishes nothing. If you want to know what it is, send it to a lab for gas chromatography / multiple spectrum analysis.

Ooh okay... sorry guys this is my first post, my boyfriend suggested posting on here about it. Oh and sorry for the SWIM thing, too.

Yeah I'm not sure what it was, had a gooey consistency. But thanks everyone.

maybe you could order a blood pressure testing kit from amazon, take your heart rate once a day for a while, make sure you seem fine.

if you have no symptoms, we can't say anything from an image.

you could always tell a doctor. "i found this in my bloodstream.."

This has happened once to me before.
You probably registered, left the blood on the syringe too long, and it congealed.
All you can is empty the liquid in the sink and dispose of the syringe correctly.
