Something legal to get me through seeing my ex

Been reading this forum and am impressed with the thoughtfulness. Hoping you can suggest something or other.

I have to see an ex in three weeks. I totally can't handle seeing her. She f*cked me over in ways you can only imagine. I know I should deal with this in a reasonable way, but I haven't got time yet.

I've avoided her for over a year now, but this time the occasion is unavoidable. It's the birthday party of a good friend of mine. I can;t avoid it. And I know she's going to be there, with the guy she was f*cking while she and I were planning our future together.

What I'm looking for is something or a combination of LEGAL something/s that I could have up my sleeve to help me be together and dignified, and not be a mewling, pathetic wretch, like I would be if I were there just as I am... or worse, if I was just drunk and getting lairy and punch the smug c*nt in the face.

If I did anything illegal, I would have some Charlie, but since I don't, I'm asking you lot if you can helpe...
 
Welcome to BL! Sorry to hear about the situation you are in. I know it can be tough to deal with ex's but being wasted may not be the best answer either. Maybe try phenazepam or etizolam for anxiety. Both are uncontrolled substances. Best of luck to you friend! :)
 
I'm sorry. I'm sure that is very hurtful. Just be careful, not to much and don't drink too much. Nothing is going to make them happier than seeing you all fucked up. If you get all tore up, she wins. Let her see you happy without her stupid cheating ass. Even if it is fake. Perhaps find a hot date... But fake happy and fine, I promise nothing is a better to see her all pissed that you don't give a fuck about her and her man whore...she will likely cheat on him too. Know that, and smile. <3
