Hey everyone,
I've been on oxycontin for about 1.5 years now. I've been on 40mg 4 times a day. Lately with the help of PT, Lyrica and a good psychologist I've been able to lower the dose to 60mg twice a day. I just started this new dosage but there is something really wrong with these 60mg oxycontins.
They leave a bad taste in my mouth an hour or so after taking them. They give me a head ache and the taste I get if I burp after taking them is totally different from the 40's I've been taking and the 40's and 30's that I was taking before the 40's all taste the same. And last but not least they aren't helping for the pain all that much. The 40's were working better that these 60's.
So what should I do? I've had this new prescription for 2 days now (wanted to give it a couple days in case it was just me). The pharmacy I got them from is one of those pharmacies that make their own meds for people though I've asked in the past about Oxycontin and they say they do not make those. Should I go back to them and tell them these are not working or should I call up Purdue and ask them about it?
Thanks!
