Opioids Someone please help with these two oxycontin generics!!!

NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just went to 2 different pharmacies and asked them if they can fill my oxycontin 40 mg script with a generic version (in hopes to get the ethex brand).... walgreens told me that yes they can and the generic version is made or distributed by a company called apotex pharmaceuticals(they had them in stock)... the other pharmacy told me also yes they have a generic and that generic version is made or distributed by amide pharmaceuticals..... PLEASE any OF YOU GUYS who have knowledge on these two companies or better yet someone who has tried these generic brands, can you please tell me if they are like the old type oxycontin made by purdue??? from what i understood, purdue was the only company that was able to make them after all the lawsuits they had, and i thought that ethex was the only one that had the generic which were also made by purdue. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE
 
ok so for those of you who are interested, i just got off the phone with apotex and they told me they sold their product to walgreens once awhile back, it turns out that apotex is a distributor of purdues oxys. they will not be selling it to walgreens any longer. so i better fill my script their asap!! now im going to call the other company and see what they say
