Someone close to me is on many prescribed drugs and is abusing them; what do I do?

Totally agree on the amitriptyline too. Very nasty stuff that can be horrid to come off cold turkey. If on quite a high dose I'd taper it (unless I tried CT and it worked for me) if it were I. Same goes for Prozac. Ugh. Worst. Withdrawals. Ever. (aside from tramadol... and Seroxat). Felt soooooooooo much better once I came off all the antideps it's just ridiculous though. They have their place... and that place is in the dustbin of failed pharmaceutical history

Thanks for all the the info she's making the first step in the right direction......I think she knows how bad the combo of meds is bad but hearing it from others gave her the final push.......cheers
