ok i'm new whole to the whole drug thing so i was wondering if anyone can answer some of these questions.. ok u might think i'm a moron for asking some of these, but hell i don't know shit about it, and couldn't find stuff about them on erowid.
Does acid contain rat poison?
Does your spine hurt after using acid?
If you take 9 hits of acid at once will u go insane?
Does E drain your spinal fluid?
After taking E will your seratonin ever restore to its original level?
Does taking vitamin C while rolling kill your roll or make it stronger...or neither?
Does weed kill your brain cells, therefore making u stupid?

If you take 9 hits of acid at once will u go insane? There is no given. Some people may go insane after 1 hit, but it depends. Most people won't go insane, but they would get pretty messed up.

It dosent kill it. Some say it enhances your roll, but who cars? Take it. Vit. C is good for you.
Does weed kill your brain cells, therefore making u stupid? holding your breath kills your brain cells. Smoking weed however, does make ussers temporary more stupid. If you stop using the drug, your problem will go away. However, some don't get the 'stupid' effect.

No, this is a myth, there is NO STRYCHNINE IN LSD! Even if your hit contained NOTHING but strychnine, it wouldnt be enough for you to even notice!

Yes, it does, but that has nothing to do with any "poison", it's simply the nature of the drug - LSD that is!

No, you could take THOUSANDS of hits and not "go insane".. if you have an underlying psychological disorder, then LSD can cause it to *surface*.. but it can't CAUSE any problems, and no, you're not "legally" insane if you take __ amount of hits..

No, it certinly doesn't, thats not possible..

Does acid contain rat poison? it's never happened, and you probably can't fit a toxic dose on one or a few squares of blotter. btw, strychnine is no longer used as rat poison.
Does your spine hurt after using acid? if it does, it's a muscle thing. nothing to do with drugs. (heh..acieed)

there's a lot of interesting things in the article... basically they assert that vitamin C protects the brain from MDMA toxicity (though it definitely couldn't be depended on to make it 'safe')... and apparently, the rats that got vitamin C for their first time on e got more fucked up when they gave them just e later (this probably means their brains were less damaged, had more serotonin, and they had less tolerance)
Does weed kill your brain cells, therefore making u stupid? doing E kills your brain cells, almost for sure. weed however does not. one study i read about (i didn't read it) said they tested memory abilities in people who had been using weed for 30 years and found no significant difference. note that i dont personally like E OR weed... but i defend weed's safety and attack MDMA whenever i can ... think about it.=)

Not that it matters much, but the following is false: "E kills your brain cells, almost for sure"
E almost for sure does not do so.....the rouge DA that gets into the wrong receptor MIGHT cause seratonin receptors to not work properly for awhile. Or even cause a bit of damage, but nothing near the kind of damage you do drinking a few shots of Whiskey. ( to put in perspective the neurotoxic risk). S plays a huge role in so many other brain body funtions such as digestion…etc, if there was a drug people took that caused serious irreversable damage to those systems I have a hunch that the symptoms of that damage would be body wide, no only expressed by mood disorders. But that is just my guess.
I think it is cool you asked the questions you did. Good for you! Get the info! I don't see how you missed the answers on Erowid though. Drugs are complicated you have to read a lot of info from a lot of sources to even get a remote view of how these things work (or don't). Luckly it is easier to do this now. Erowid is a great place to find this type of stuff. You are off to a great start. Don’t do drugs with out educating your self about them first. It is just stupid, considering how easy it is to do so these days. Can you imagine where all of us would be and what we would think with out the net at our finger tips?
I have actually tasted strychnine. Tiny dab on the end of a finger, probably 10 times what you would get in a tab, and felt nothing. No pain,, no cramps , nothing .....DARE be damned.
It is a little complicated to make good pure acid, and I suspect that adulterants and some of the less active amides get into some batches made by kitchen cooking idiots who learned the trade on the net. It is such a weird drug ( it’s action anyway,) that it can have bizarre reactions in some people. Especially suggestible novices. .
I stick to coffee, you just can't go wrong with that one. mmmmmmmm so legal, so good..........I wish they made computers that had coffee makers in them. With a little coffee icon you could just push and a spout where it would come out. Pop up windows that say things like “Cream and sugar?”. Gosh that would be nice. Download different blends……mmmmmmm

Of course marijuana kills brain cells - you are buring a plant and inhaling it's smoke, there is tar, carcinogens, and a number of other things - will marijuana make you stupid? No, I don't think you will have any noticible decrease in cognitive functions from regular use, and out of every drug out there, marijuana is probably the *overall* "safest", but all you pot heads have got to stop saying it's a harmless drug - marijuana DOES damage the body, but that damage is really minor enough you wont have to worry about it..
MDMA *DOES* kill brain cells, sorry, while I agree you can negate the REAL damage, and prevent neurotoxicity as well - but ecstasy kills braincells, sorry... again, like marijuana, regular use and pro-active measures can make it safe enough that it's not an issue - but we gotta be accurate, it DOES kill braincells...
