Some quick help on a CWE please!

Hey all..
i take opiates a couple few times a month and usually take 2 30mg roxies (60 mg oxycodone.)
Well i really felt like getting opiated tonight but i couldnt get roxy...only 7.5/750 mg vicodin.

I like to take around 90 mg of hydro to get off so i got 12 7.5/750 vics.

Im gonna take 4 pills straight and the rest CWE...so i dissolved and mixed 8 pills into about 3 oz of cold water...and poured them into a coffee filter on top of another glass.

Its about an hour later and it seems that a LOT of liquid came through the filter (theres no rips or anything.) Theres just a little tiny puddle on top of the filter that im hoping is all the tylenol.

So my question is...is it possible for the tylenol in the mixture to come through the coffee filter?!

Im planning on taking the hydro in about an hour so i need to know ASAP if i risk COMPLETELY destroying my liver or is it rather unlikely that the tylenol would come through the coffee filter and should i be ok?

if the liquid was clear and the filter liquid was white (or whatever colour the pills were), and there was no clear rip, then probably it was fine. Most of the liquid should pass through, the tylenol stays as a powder on top. I believe there will be some APAP in the water regardless, because as I understand it has low but not a total lack of solubility, but this amount should be negligeable compared to the tylenol that gets filtered out.

I feel fine now...not too high from the hydro anymore and no negative effects as of now. the opiate high was pretty decent but it wasnt one of the better ones for sure...had a great time none the less.

Bit it seems i should be fine...i know it can take up to 12 hours to feel the negative effects of tylenol but things are looking optimistic.

APAP is slightly water soluble - 1g in 100ml, which is more than most people realise - so some will have come through that way. Some undissolved APAP may have leaked through the filter as well, but if the solution is clear then this is likely insignificant.

It's best to CWE all your APAP-containing pills as CWE doesn't remove 100% of the APAP so you really want to minimise what you consume. It's also not recommended that you consume more than 2g APAP in one sitting (doctors usually don't prescribe more than 1g in one go). If you performed the CWE correctly and didn't use too much water then you're probably okay, but do be careful.. symtoms of an OD can appear 12-24 hrs afterwards, and by the time they appear it's too late for effective treatment and permanent damage has usually occurred so you need to be really cautious. If you are at all concerned I would get medical help immediately to have your liver checked and APAP levels taken.
