Unfortunately bodybuilding attracts a particular attitude of more is better, which it of course isn't. It's a basic principle of pharmacology and most idiots I see are completely baffled by the concept:

Use the MINIMUM required dose to achieve a desired result.

If you are gaining on 500mg, hell even 250mg a week then that's fine. You should exhaust all other options (changes to training, nutrition etc) before you increase your dosage or add more compounds.

Your body does not like huge changes to its physiology, which translates to: rapid gains are usually harder to keep.
