ok i never realised the difference between main social and aus social. i thought aus social was just an australian version... seems to make more sense to me but yeah anyway i understand...
i prefer to post in the aus forum because im generally going to get responses from people in australia, thus i am more likely to be able to relate to, and there is a far higher possibility that i might know them or one day meet them.
i never post in main social because the topics are often tremendously stupid, such as 'titties' or some random sentence... i had sort of developed the opinion that aus social was a little more mature (generalisation - no offence intended) as i could see it was policed more.
dont get me wrong, i agree that a certain amount of policing is necessary, but maybe not so strict. ie if in a thread, someone posts a little off topic, there is no need for a mod to post suggesting that they stay on topic, until a few more posts are made and the original topic is lost or begins to fade.
