This is like, my second post, so I don't entirely know if this is in the right spot...anyway;

So, I was hanging out with my dad the other day who has a script of Hydrocodone and Somas for back pain. We were watching some movie when, out of nowhere, the dude gets up off the couch shaky as a motherfucker(no doubt just the Somas doin' they job) and just starts picking at the blinds. This goes on for about 2-3 minutes befpre I ge up and see what the fuck he's doing. He's got this catatonic, 1,000 mile away stare goin' on, and is completely unresponsive to anything I say. I kept askin' him questions, and he wouldn't answer with anything. Eventually, I pull his hand away from the blinds, and then he aknowledges me and tells me to stop. Eventually, i get himto stop and sit on the couch. I ask him if he wants to lay down, and he says yeah, then just sits there. He then gets up, again, slowly and shakily, and walks to his room, over to his safe where he keeps his pills, then walks back to the living room and sits on the couch. He's got a helluva nod goin' by this time, too, as you can imagine. Then he gets up, barely gets a bowl of soup made, ends up eating two bowls of soup and is fucking FINE. No memory of what happened either. This only happened once before, and it was because of the Somas, and perhaps the mix of Hydrocodone too. Same dead stare, same shake, everything. So I ask you, good people; da fuck happened?

That is a seizure I am sure

That whole episode sounds like a seizure. I am very familiar with all types. The staring seems like absence but that picking and weird stuff sounds more like temporal lobe. Somas have been known to produce seizures in some people even at therapeutic doses

When I take too many somas, I black out and do reallly weird things as well. It almost got me kicked out of my house several times, which is why I don't take them anymore either. They're dangerous pills.

Never had anything wacky happen like this with the mixture of Soma's & Hydrocodone. Definitely was the mix.......you never mentioned how many Soma's he took?

First time I tool a half of a Soma & a 10/325 hydrocodone, I was floored........I couldnt talk on the phone because I couldnt focus & it felt as if I was wired from speed or something. As I would mix the combo more often, it just relaxes me since that 1st time.

I've never gotten really throwed on Somas, let alone catatonic, and the first time I took them I took 3 of them.

I also black out from high doses of soma and end up doing strange things. Last time I got zonked on them alone I guess my street flooded and I have no recollection of it at all or anything else that happened that day. All I know is my mom told me I was in bed by 8:30 and I looked like hell. If I mix them with benzos, well me blacking out is pretty much guarenteed. Never tried mixing them with any opiates before though - but I'm guessing it could have similar effects

I never tried taking Somas. But I have always heard/read they are great with opiates. I am not a fan of Benzos in large doses(I like to be able to remember how good I feel) and I know they are kinda close to benzos I guess. But I am an IV user but am taking methadone right now.

Anyone like them with their opiates or have had any 'good' experiences with them and opiates I guess? I know they could be a dangerous combo. I have a high tolerance and was also just curious. So don't think I'm going to over do it if I try or anything like that.
