Good Day Bluelighters,
I am new to this site, but not new to MAPS, Americans for Safe Access, NORML, PTSD research, Dual-Diagnosis Therapy, Harm Reduction, Somatic Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, etc., so I have both a clinical interest and a personal interest. As a Veteran, I am very interested in seeing the best possible therapies for PTSD and SA for our brothers and sisters coming home and to those who have survived our other conflicts all over the world.
I grew up overseas (US, Japan, Italy, England, Indian Country...lol) and have a progressive perspective on mental health and RXs, as we need to use all of our resources and tools in our psychological/physical/spiritual/cultural toolkits. I have an MA in clinical psych (withdrew from my doctoral program in my 5th year to care for my elderly father) and a B.Sc in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Studies (I have an Ohio LCDC III). I would like to continue my interest and studies of psychedelic medicine in psychotherapy, and see this website as a resource to both learn and to share/discuss knowledge that would help me/us be of better service to those who are in need, and to the community in general.
Thank you for your time.
Take Care,
Ken Chiancone
